5 /5 Berenice Arguello: It’s a welcoming restaurant. Cozy on a rainy day, and also bright/lively. We ordered tea. Perfect. I appreciate that it came with sugar on the side. Amazing start to the meal. The appetizers (samosas) were flaky. So light and freshly made. 15-20 min later our entrees came at the same time. Warm, but not piping hot. Perfectly timed. The owner, Sofi, is attentive and sweet

4 /5 Shaun: The vibe here is pretty cool — like the artwork, the flowers, the dishware. The restuarant is as lovely as the owners personality. We had a large group and enjoyed the garlic naan, the Qurma Goat Curry (the menus font choice for some reason made me think this was Dorma Goat Curry). Asked for spicy on the Qurma and they did a nice job. I dont like my food hitting nuclear levels of heat and this was perfect. Also snagged some Kofta Curry. This had a weird texture but the sauces were pretty darn good. Id go back and the leftovers are even better as the sauces get to mingle.

5 /5 Erin Lackey: What an amazing restaurant! We have heard about how wonderful this restaurant is and we decided to finally go. My husband and I went for our 21st wedding anniversary in August. We walked in and were warmly greeted by Sofi herself! The food was amazing. I have never had Pakistan cuisine. The Samosa were different than the Indian Samosa. I am used to, but in the best way. The outside was crispy and the inside was filled with delicious potatoes and peas. The jasmine rice was so fragrant and so flavorful. The portions were decent size and we even had enough to take home. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to be surrounded by a beautiful ambience and wonderful service and of course delicious food. It is a very unique and niche restaurant in downtown Chico.

5 /5 Megan Aviles: We had dinner at Sofi’z for the first time tonight. What a great place! The service and atmosphere were great! Felt like we weren’t in Chico. The appetizers and entrees were all delicious. We went with friends and ordered several dishes off the menu and they were all delicious. The lamb kebabs and butter chicken were my favorite! Can’t wait to go back!

5 /5 Samantha Smith: Sofi is so friendly and welcoming. During busy times, make a reservation or expect a long wait. The food is worth the wait, I have been back a few times now. It is delicious and served family-style so its perfect for a group of friends who would like to try multiple dishes. I enjoyed masala chai, butter chicken and garlic naan. My spouse had kofta curry and mango lassi. My friends rave about the lamb. Also, she has put a lot of work into decorating her place and the bathroom is beautiful and has more amenities than expected. It is such a nice gesture of appreciation to her customers. We will continue to return and hope this restaurant remains a downtown staple for Chico.
