5 /5 Phredtoon Joon: I had a breakfast burrito and it knocked my socks off perfect balance of fats acid and spice. employees were wonderfully sweet. I think the only reason this isnt the busiest restaurant in town is that people dont know that ambiance that this place bleeds is exactly what to look for for a Mexican spot . they arent spending time making this place look pretty they are spending their time making the mind blowing food . thank you for the chance to eat at your establishment.

5 /5 Monique Skawinski: If you want authentic Mexican food that your grandma use to make this is the place to go. We had the asada burrito, tamale, and tostada. Perfectly made! Wished we would have went back for more. Very good food! We loved it! Tamale was perfect. No Pic of the burrito, but it was bomb. Price was also reasonable.

1 /5 john christiano: Walk in here after driving for hours to get some food. Been here before and food was good. Kinda dirty little shack but good made up for it. Stop by today and see same guy the owner working. Tables are all disgusting and covered in left over food . The whole Joint felt gross . Started ordering and the whole the time the dude seems super annoyed with life. Like he needed a hug or day off. Maybe close the restaurant and clean a little. But the environment was way off from the last time I was here and it was the same guy. I won’t be stopping in here ever again and hope the owner sees this and adjust some things. I turned away and left mid ordering just bases on his annoyed seeming attitude he had. Then told me 15 mins for a sope and 2 tacos . Not a big deal but he was annoyed when I asked about the sope .

5 /5 Carolyn Kurnizki: Great lunch stop in Alturas. The burritos were massive and stuffed with lots of ingredients and flavor, and the accompanying house salsa was fresh and tasty. They sell homemade tamales on Saturdays, and they even had local honey for sale too. Highly recommend! Plus you can splurge on milkshakes at Frosty’s next door!
