Gomezs Mexican Restaurant - Mammoth Lakes (CA)

5 /5 Valdemar: I came here off-season, so it wasn’t too crowded. The food was delicious — authentic Mexican. They also have one of the largest tequila collections in the world. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff are friendly and polite. The restrooms are clean — which says a lot about the place.

3 /5 brian piela: Pretty much what you would expect from a restaurant in the village. Average food w/ inflated prices. Margarita was good, recommend. Guacamole, stay away. Zero flavor. Chips and salsa is your call, but I hate places that charge for their watered down salsa and nothing special chips. Enchiladas were good, but nothing to write home about. If you are in the mood for Mexican I would recommend this place but be prepared to pay a pretty penny for middle of the road Mexican food. P.s. you get white rice with your meal???

5 /5 Special B.: I don’t understand the 3.8 rating. This place was delicious!! Some of the most tender steak I’ve ever eaten. Service was good & super fast. I got it to go because I arrived late and just wanted to relax in the hotel. Highly recommend. I ordered the asada plate, cheese quesadilla, & azteca soup. All 5 stars.

5 /5 Harsha N: I liked the food overall. Loved their fajitas... Their portions are HUGE.... So the price when compared to the portions is decent. My boy liked the chicken burrito for kids. There is a sand play area for kids with toys in it. Pretty neatly maintained with hardworking and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend going here.
