3 /5 G Lee: I have a variety of thoughts about Louie Linguini’s. Let’s start with the location and atmosphere. It’s situated in the perfect spot to overlook the water and cannery area. They have mostly indoor seating and a tiny bit of outdoor seating when you first walk up the stairs on the deck. It’s very shady here but it’s OK. You may wanna bring a long sleeve on a breezy day.
The food is average at best. Most of the folks in my party had fish and chips and fried calamari. But we also tried the Alfredo linguine and seafood linguine. The fish and chips were not what I expected from this area. Just not super high-quality or special in any particular way. Lots of small pieces as opposed to a few large pieces. I question that.
The seafood linguine on the other hand was quite good. And the calamari was basic calamari, I don’t think fresh.
What is cool, is that they have a dog menu. So that’s nice since many of the visitors, including us, have dogs.
Service was pretty spotty I’d say. I think it’s because you’re outside and they just don’t go out there as much.
