5 /5 James Camacho: The atmosphere and the food here make for a great night out. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, the bacon mac and cheese, and the buttuery buns. Everything was delicous! At this time of year this restaurant embraces the Christmas spirit, which I really appreciate. The customer service was great as well. Everyone was friendly and helpful. As is the case for any downtown eating experience, the parking can be tough to find. Park 20-30 minutes before you want to eat because you may have to walk several blocks. Overall, a great experience with some delicious food. Eat up!!!

5 /5 Myra Giordano: Great food, service and location. It was so easy to park at Horton Plaza and dine here before a show at the Balboa Theater. Great cocktails, yummy apps, and perfect steaks that are served with sides, all at fair prices. We will be back!

5 /5 John A: Let me start off with the reception. Manager/Owner came over and personally greeted us and apologized for a small delay in our reservation - not a big deal - we hit the bar. He continuously checked in with us and made sure we were ok. CHRIS was PHENOMENAL. Outstanding service, friendly, courteous, outgoing, and engaging. The food was AMAZING!! Wow!!! 5 star experience across the board. I Loathe going downtown but this place changed my mind. Totally worth it.

5 /5 Breahna Alvarez: This was my first time dining at Freddy’s Chop House, and my experience was absolutely amazing thanks to our waiter, Chris. He had such great energy from the moment we sat down and made us feel completely welcomed. His recommendations were spot-on, and you can tell he genuinely cares about making sure every guest has a great experience. The service was exceptional from start to finish. I’ll definitely be coming back—and I’ll be asking for Chris!
