El Jardín de los Sueños Cafe - Richmond (CA)

5 /5 mari S.: Today we visited El Jardín de los Sueños Cafe ( Garden of Dreams Cafe) It was crowded but the service was spot on. The ladies serving worked fast and the hot chocolate we order was yummy. The neat thing about this Cafe is that they have a childrens play space . They have childrens books a doll house and toys. Food wise they have regular Cafe drinks but their hot chocolate has delicious cinnamon. They have omelettes, Bagels ,Sandwiches . protein smoothies and fresh juices. They also carry a variety of candy from Mexico and el salvador. There is also an outdoor seating area. Today being Saturday it was crowded but there was plenty of standing space. I loved the livelyness of the Cafe and overall it was a very interesting place to visit. I think this is a great place for families or for friends to meet.

5 /5 Christy Mulhèrin: The turkey omelette was amazing, including salad and a split & roasted sourdough roll. So much cheesy and vegetable goodness! Plenty of parking and an outdoor patio covered in deep, cushy artificial grass, plus a few trees, made for a pleasant vibe even while located a block below I-80. When I approached the counter to order, the gal was meticulously explaining the menu to a Muslim lady that apparently could not read English. I was hungry, so I had to break in just to ask whether there was any table service to be had. Without any grief, she volunteered to swiftly take my simple order, even asking if that was all, before returning to explain the menu. Who needs waiters, with fantastic service like this? The only downside was receiving my hot meal served on a plastic plate. Extra perk is Tapatio hot sauce in self-service packets (as well as bottles), just like the ketchup. I cant wait to come back to this garden of dreams!

5 /5 AC Nest: The food and coffee are fresh! While there was little to no egg in my bagel sandwich the bacon was fresh and it was delicious. There’s plenty of space in there and family friendly and easy to park. It bit pricy for the lack of egg in bagel sandwich but overall delicious.

5 /5 Matt Cohen: Good food but they ran out of chorizo at 8:30 am. My wife is from Mexico and she wanted a chorizo omelette but she had to settle for ham instead. The dining area was very cold, everyone was wearing heavy coats inside --- I had to ask them to turn on the heat. We were very uncomfortable....
