3 /5 Michele Urban: The hotel is nice, offering standard rooms and amenities. Our room was on the 4th floor. There wasn’t a strong smoke smell, but there was a slight mustiness—tolerable, but noticeable.
The pool is small, with a deep end of only 4.5 feet, but the hot tub is enjoyable, and there is a shower in the pool area.
There is one restaurant with good food, though the entrance is not very obvious, which can be confusing.
The most disappointing aspect was the casino. The slots are cashless, so I couldn’t just put money into a machine to play. When my money got stuck, I had to find an attendant, who seemed annoyed. I learned you need a player’s card to gamble, but this wasn’t explained at check-in, and there are no signs on the machines. I also had to ask how to get a card, which again received an annoyed response, leading me to leave without gambling further.
Overall, the hotel has nice rooms and amenities, but the casino experience and unclear signage make it frustrating if you plan to gamble.
