5 /5 Aaron Brittingham: Absolutely killer meal. We were visiting from Montana and wanted to eat as much seafood as possible on this trip, and Bluewater delivered. We had the poke and a Rhode Island lobster roll as apps, for entrees my wife got the Paella and I had the striped bass. Poke was phenomenal, the marinade was killer, the wonton chips were the perfect thickness where they were thin and crispy but didnt shatter apart as soon as you took one bite. The lobster roll was amazing, the bun was loaded with lotsof lobster and covered in butter, they even had the proper Rhode Island bun so that they could griddle each side in butter. The sea bass was the star of the show, the skin was absolutely perfectly seared so I could hear it crunch when I took a bite, but the fish wasnt overcooked. I didnt steal too much of my wifes paella but the bite I had was fantastic. We had a couple of cocktails and dessert and the bill was just under $200, which seemed more than reasonable for the quality and quantity of food that we got along with the location of a restaurant right on the beach in Santa Barbara. Overall a strong recommendation from us if youre looking for a nice seafood dinner at this price point.
