5 /5 KG: We dined here last night for Dine LA and had a fantastic experience. It was our first time visiting this restaurant, and it did not disappoint. My boyfriend and I both ordered from the Dine LA Three-Course Prix-Fixe Menu, while our friends ordered from the regular menu. Here’s what we tried:
• Crispy Eggplant – Lightly fried yet packed with flavor. The raisin-caper butter, pine nuts, and pickled peppers added a great balance. I really enjoyed this appetizer.
• Mediterranean Octopus – One of the best octopus dishes I’ve ever had! Perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful.
• Endive & Chicory Salad – The light dressing complemented the greens beautifully.
• Beets & Goat Cheese – A perfect balance of flavors—light, refreshing, and delicious.
• Wagyu Short Rib – Rich, tender, and full of flavor. An excellent choice.
• Aleppo Pepper Cavatelli – Slightly spicy, though mild for those accustomed to heat. As a spice lover, I didn’t find it remotely spicy, but it was still delicious.
• Alfredo Shrimp w/ Garlic Breadcrumbs – Light and satisfying. All their pasta dishes are served in a tapas-style portion, so you won’t leave feeling overly full.
• Vodka Pasta – A simple yet flavorful dish that really delivers.
• Olive Oil Cake – Unfortunately, this was dry and not to my taste. I prefer a more moist cake.
• Chocolate Budino – Absolutely delicious! This was a favorite.
A note on portions: This is not your typical Italian restaurant with large servings. I personally love this approach since I don’t eat pasta often and prefer not to feel overwhelmed by heavy portions.
We’ll definitely be back to try more dishes. Overall, a satisfying experience, and I highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area!
