XD_Rahmanシ: I recently stayed at The Commerce Hotel and was honestly so impressed. The entire place is super clean and beautiful—you can tell they take pride in keeping everything well-maintained. The rooms were spotless, the lobby felt welcoming, and the whole vibe was relaxing. But what really stood out to me was the front dest guy, Mr. Johnny. He was so kind, respectful, and professional. From the moment I walked in, he made me feel like a valued guest. He answered all my questions with patience and a smile, and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. It’s rare to come across customer service like that these days—he truly made the experience feel special. If you’re planning a trip, I highly recommend staying here. Great atmosphere, clean space, and thanks to Johnny, some of the best service I’ve ever had at a hotel.

Walker Gibson: This review relates to the poker room specifically. The Good: - very aware and efficient board staff and floor people. It seems like theyre always actively trying to fill seats, remember who got seated where and what other lists theyre on, etc. The most pro-active and focused Ive ever seen in terms of seating and managing games. - good action at the $5/5 and $5/5/10 games, at least on a Sunday afternoon. - overly large tables and (as of 7/6/26) 8-handed games, so theres plenty of room between players. Never felt cramped - very comfortable. - the tacos at the taco stand were very good and reasonably priced. - reasonably priced beer. The Bad: - they collect $2 pre-flop, so if you take down the blinds youre paying $2 for the privilege. The Bike is $1 pre-flop. - no players cards or comps; you earn $2/hr toward food at The Bike. - some of the dealers were of questionable quality. They had trouble understanding what to do when people missed blinds, came into the blinds, posted, etc. A floor had to be called over at one point when people were changing seats and moving into the blinds, and they almost decided to redraw for the button?? I dunno, it was unnecessarily chaotic and it seemed like insufficient training to me. Overall pretty good, Ill be back at some point.

Brad Budge: Blackjack table (odds) are good. Dealers can be fun. Client’s are too reckless, play desperate and bizarre. Not the casinos fault. Been there many times. It’s a love hate.

Pamela Tuck: Concert Venue was great. Every seat was a great seat. The line was really long to get in but once the doors opened it went fast. Outdoors venue and the moon was full. Beautiful drive to casino Pauma with plenty of parking

Jeremy Sherington: The hotel and casino are decent, but the valet service is a weak spot. Some of the staff come off as rude, and I’ve even seen them slap cars while parking. That’s not what you expect when you’re trusting someone with your vehicle. Also the rooms have some strange odor. For a place that markets itself as high-end, the valet team should be trained to treat both guests and their cars with more professionalism and respect.

Gabby Valdez: I highly recommend coming here. They usually have drink specials that hit the spot at an affordable price. They also have a delicious steak dinner on Wednesdays.

Joe M Miller: Here with sort of an update review on San Diego’s counties oldest, loosest and best casino. Been a loyal club card member for almost 20 years there has seen lots of changes, upgrades, new faces and original team members, have had good and bad times even discouraged to try other casinos over the years but overall always return back to Valley View it’s still a great place to go. First I’d like start with the many places to eat several new restaurants, their world famous all you eat lobster buffet has gotten many improvements to mention the new system as far as wait times to get in the buffet, the service is fantastic and as always the food is great and delicious! I just have to mention several servers Lucy, Linda , JJ , Sal J , Millet, Sally, Cynthia , Cristian, Dan, Aiden, Kathlene and Marlyn at Snax & Stix snack and noodle bar are fantastic, very efficient they all really take very good care you to make sure your dinning is enjoyable and memorable. Patties and Pints is another fantastic restaurant, new outstanding menu, service and hospitality you have to experience. The hotel has always been a favorite..always seen like home so comfy, clean and secure it’s a 5-star stay…Oh and the complimentary breakfast at The Cafe is so delicious, service is excellent as well. If you like some refreshments they have five bars now, with some great floor beverage servers, very efficient, polite and friendly..one floor beverage server Marissa is all that was mentioned above…shes wonderful. The main stage bar is where all the weekly and monthly drawings are held. Black and Blue steakhouse rated number one steakhouse in San Diego county service is excellent and the menu mouth watering. Valley View does have a very large non-smoking section for the non smokers. As far as your favorite playing experiences over 2000 slots, table games and there are lots winners which at the beginning of my review as being the loosest casino in San Diego county with great rewards. New members get 200.00 in casino perks, includes two free maine lobster buffets, slot free play , Bluetooth speaker, and coupons for the various restaurants throughout the casino. The atmosphere is nice, team members show appreciation for being there and give you good service…So if you are looking for a great time, great food, music, winnings playing your favorite games and a comfortable stay. Well another great night at the loosest casino in San Diego county March 21 2025 always friendly and polite staff they go out their way to your feel welcomed. Also not to mention another winning night. My ultimate suggestion would be Valley View Casino & Resort I would highly recommend Enjoy!!
