Duane Caldwell Ive known Joel for a few years through local Mini Cooper clubs. He has always been a great resource for Mini maintenance and repair info, and everyone I know who has taken their car to Joel has raved about his service, quality, and his exceptionally reasonable pricing. Today, I learned firsthand how much that community trust has been earned and is well-deserved. I took my 20 Countryman JCW to Joels shop to replace a broken engine mount and to replace the 5-year-old battery. I have a routine maintenance contract with Mini that does not cover repairs or battery replacement. I choked at their price quote, so I turned to GAS. Joel walked me through what he was doing, showed me the damage to the mount, replaced it, and replaced the battery with efficiency, skill, and professionalism. The bill, when done, was a fraction of what the dealer quoted. I highly recommend Joel at German Auto Service for your Mini, BMW, VW, or Audi service. His shop is small, but well-equipped. He cant do tires or wheel alignments there, but he does most other repair and maintenance work. The shop is in a fantastic location within walking distance to the Lawrence Caltrain station, and nearby shops and cafes, including Starbucks, if you want to pay too much for over-roasted coffee. I was not there since I was the one that usually talk with Mr. Le I felt like he took advantage of my son because when I asked for the details, he showed me a little bag of parts. Mark Brunner Les was a life saver! I restore cars as a hobby and getting smog checks on older vehicles can be a nightmare. Most recently I have a 1985 AMC Eagle Im working on and the last step with the DMV was the smog check. I have a great smog shop that Ive been going to for years, and will continue to, but their equipment wasnt able to do a vehicle of this era. I called around and landed on Les and he didnt hesitate to say he would give it a go with their equipment. His technicians did a great and thorough job and got the job done efficiently and quickly. I would highly recommend them for this kind of service and they will be by go to for older vehicles that still need a smog test.

Pranav Ramarao Amazing experience! I am just another software guy in the bay area, looking for ways to fix an issue I had with my BMW 340i. I was exploring auto services in and around SVL/MTV and came across Lozano. Usually when I see such positive reviews (all close to 5 stars), I am a little skeptical and always think the reviews are faked of sort. Either way, I decided to give this place a shot. My BMWs under car shield had torn apart and BMW quoted high fees to replace them. When I went there, Vince first came out to inspect the car. Vince took the car inside, put it on the machine that lifted my car up. With this, we were able to clearly see what the damage was. Vince and Troy together spent time removing the torn parts out so that my car was at least in a drivable condition. They spent 15 minutes, passionately explaining various parts of the undercover shield. After that, they told me precisely which parts I needed to replace, which was fewer than what BMW had asked for. After this was done, Vince just lowered my car and said I was set to go, NOT EVENING ASKING FOR ANY $. I was stunned and very pleasantly surprised. They never charge you without knowing any upfront costs. In this case, I felt they definitely deserved to be paid so I decided I would come back to them with the new parts and pay them then. As promised, I came back with the new parts I purchased from BMW and once again, Vince and his team fixed it for me at a very low cost. Brian Shiu ~2 year update - still going strong! -------------------------------------------------------- The transmission on our Toyota Siena van with 145k miles went out on New Years Eve. Brought it to Walter at Flores transmission. He diagnosed and said it’d be best to get a remanufactured one. Given the costs of cars today we figured it was best to fix. A few days later he had it up and running. We did have a hiccup after the initial pick up but Walter took care of the issue quickly. We’re 200 miles in and seems to be running super smooth.

J G A wonderful family business that solved the brake problem with my truck. I have all my service records for my truck so Walter and I went for a test drive and then he reviewed what had already been done to the brakes and he only replaced what was needed. There was no upselling or pushing to fix anything else. It was OEM parts and the price was fair too. I will definitely be going back and recommending them to my family and friends.

He still charged me a higher price and barely communicated for anything I asked. Also, at the end of the service when I asked him for the remainder of the unused oil he lied to me and said it is in the car only to realize later that it was not the case. Overall it was a bad experience.

Bills Trapping And Pest Removal Have been going to toms for a few years now. He had a great set up when it was just him.... dont understand what happen..This last time I needed front brake pads replaced... I even bought them and came with them. It took no more then 20mins. So as a business sure get me for an hour of work thats OK with me. But when I went to pay the bill was 230....Remember I have done business there for years and Ive always let things go like when they brake calibers multiple times or when they crack brake lines.... but now its to much Tom is a great guy but the way things are done I dont agree with for a quick swap of front brake pads no material just labor and saying it was 20mins is given some extra time which right on it got done quick but to put a 230 dollar pay on that no that is no different than stealing the money with a knife and mask..... last time I go there what a shame we are talking about years of repeat busy he has recieved from me not impressed dude good luck out there. One last thing tom is a good guy so I really didnt want to write this, and one reason I didnt do one star.One star is the worst of worst... wouldnt be right of me to do Im a business owner as well Im a 5 star company for a reason I dont rip people off....I do what I say Ill do and I do it correctly even if I take a lose.... Not every transaction do you have to bleed every penny out of people you depend on for your companys survival. Again really disappointed in what I experienced there today....highway robbery.....
