Jordan Devin So I had came here to get my car fixed and before I even left the lot my car broke. The mechanic said “i dont know what’s wrong with it i dont know what to tell you” after doing a diagnostics and wasn’t helpful or professional at all. I had to pay when he couldn’t even fix my car. I was charged for the part and labor but there was no labor done because I left with the same issue. Waste of time and money.

Was able to have all issues resolved on my vehicle. They had a issue with one of my AC lines and wasnt able to take care of it until Monday. Digital Circuits Brought a van in to have the transmission flushed. I specifically asked for a machine flush meaning they use a machine to flush the used ATF out (along with all the gunk) and pump new ATF fluid in. they told me they could do so. when i picked up my van and saw the invoice, the notes showed all they did was put some flushing cleaner in the transmission, ran it, then did a drain and refill. no machine flush like i had asked. I ended up taking it to the dealer and they gave me a sample of the ATF in the transmission and it was black. really nasty Prior to the van I had another car they claimed to have flushed the fluids on after changing a hose out of one of the systems in the car and yet when i got it back the fluid was still black. went to oreilly and looked at a new bottle of PS fluid and it was reddish clear. definitely not black. So i discovered they reused the existing fluid and even charged me for new fluid. This place is dishonest. do not go here for transmission or any fluid flushes for that matter.

Joseph Verderame Maurice has been my go to mechanic for years. He is exceptionally honest. His rates are always reasonable and I have never seen him want to do anything that wasnt strictly necessary. Maurice is always a busy shop, but he has always been able to take care of our cars in a very timely manner. We have had domestic, Japanese, and European cars and Maurice has been able to work on all of them with out any issues. I trust Maurice with any car I can think of, knowing it would be well taken care of and repaired correctly. I refer everyone to him.

max Carlisle Started coming to Maurice’s a little over a year ago, and I’ve brought all my cars to him ever since. His shop might be easy to miss from the road, but there is a reason it’s always full. Maurice always greets me and other customers kindly in my experience. He is straightforward and does repairs that are affordable and high quality very quickly. I’ve never had a repeat issue with a vehicle that I’ve brought to him, and I will continue to do so.

It looked brand new and the car only had 800 miles on it. Azim was very professional and very attentive to my concerns. He understood my anxiety and was empathetic. Nimroz fefa I had a very disappointing experience at United Auto Repair on McHenry. The owner was unprofessional and treated me as if I didn’t know anything. I visited the shop to get an estimate for my car, but to my shock, he told me they charge $800 just for an estimate. I found this completely unreasonable and unacceptable. The way he conducted business was unprofessional, and I will not be returning. I hope others are aware and don’t end up in a similar situation.I do not recommend this shop at all .

Tell them the guy with the Explorer sent you. They do honest work and I can not recommend them any more highly then im trying to do now. Give them a shot, trust me.

Alex McKinney I would not recommend going to this shop they didn’t represent the deal to clearly. When they suggested to apply for easy pay they said it was a program for people having financial difficulties. I didn’t know that they expected me to make 2 payments in one month of $225. I wanted to get my vehicle fixed but it couldn’t have waited. Then easy pay made another deal I paid over $600 in about months and they charged another $1000 on my account. The vehicle was not fixed up to my satisfaction after they made repairs there was a funny noise coming from the engine and for $2,250 I thought they would fix more. I don’t recommend taking your vehicle there I want a full refund. Maybe think about finding a different company to help you out with your vehicle that was so lame.

Zombie Sero Honest Engine is not so honest I went in for a brake job the larger guy with long hair and a pony tail told me $250 I said ok rear brake pads and rotors then I called him to ask how car is doing and he said I was just about to call you to tell you the auto parts store doesnt have the basic pads and rotors and they only have the premium and would cost me $450 I had to say yes because I needed my car back ASAP and when I got the car and drove home I looked at the pads and rotors he had installed basic parts and told me he had put premium he literally scammed me out of my hard earned money I recommend not to go here unless u want to get taken advantage of

Suzel Martinez I spent weeks dealing with issues with my car, & lastly the dealership told me I had a bad Head Gasket that needed replacement at 4k expense. I called several shops & asked around who was willing to repair my car.. alot places would sound afraid to do so after they hear its a 2020 Hybrid. I called this shop in hopes maybe this be the one to do it because i was sadly nearly giving up. This man right here at this shop, was even willing to look under my hood first before actually saying hes gunna work on it & THAT showed me he was genuinely caring & willing to help! He was very thorough, explained to me what was wrong with my car & what it needed, he was definitely a mechanic man of his word!! Lol cool sense of humor too! He ends up repairing my car & charging me less than I expected but it was worth it, my car runs like brand new & I am so grateful of this place saving me so much! Thank you again!!

Louis Galindo Great price, fast had it done in no time. They changed out my charcoal canister on my 01 camry. Tried to do it myself but was taking to long. Took it to Paradise Auto and less then a hour it was done. Great job!

Laura Garcia He will take your money but won’t finish the job. Called him to install a stereo system for my car wasn’t able to figure out the problem asked me to pay him $250 and said he would be returning on the weekend to finish it at no extra charge. I texted him on Friday to confirm he’s coming to finish the job and my message won’t go through and my calls are not answered, he is scamming people out of their money!!!!!!and over charging them also. be aware don’t trust him!!

Elie Hope Please , do yourself a favor and read & BELIEVE the reviews before you do business with this guy. I wish I would have listened to my 1st instinct and believed the reviews myself but I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. He arrived an hour late and when he arrived he was talking about a whole different job until I told him I needed an alternator replacement. He then apologize and said he had this job confused for his 2nd job of the day. He was here for almost 8 hours in total. For those 8 hours he was here, he had trouble getting the part out. Every time I came out to check he would make a different excuse. He initially told us it would be a 45 min job. The last hour he was here he was released gas and told us it was illegal for him to be releasing it but he had too. He then said he had to go to the store for a few items. He told me he “knicked” a wire on accident and had to replace it but that it always has to be done and it was normal. Once he left we went outside and our hood was closed and he took all his tools with him. We immediately knew something was up because the last times he left to the store, he always left his tools. My husband immediately noticed the hood of our car was now closed and opened it to see what was going on. He didn’t “knick” anything. He completely cut off a whole wire that had nothing to do with what he was doing or even close to what he was doing. It was a wire the car needed to even start. An hour passes by and he never shows back up. HE ALSO STOLE OUR ALTERNATOR! We immediately called another mechanic to come by since we needed our car done . When the other mechanic got here and looked at the car he was in disbelief. He said he never ever seen another “mechanic” do what he was looking at. Not only was a wire completely cut off, the radiator hose was always cut several times and drained out. He was in disbelief and said he did more damage to the car then then anything. He couldn’t understand why he continued to rip unnecessary parts out and cut them. He gave us a quote and once we agreed for a time for him to come back, he also let us know the alternator we paid mason for , was not the right one. We called o’rileys to see if we could exchange it and they couldn’t even find a receipt with his number or any account with his info on it. We are now having to pay for his mistakes and negligence. We had a feeling this was going to happen but we gave him the benefit of the doubt. Even though he got dropped off and didn’t have his own vehicle. Even though he confused this job for another. Even though he didn’t have the right tools. He will not answer any of our calls or messages. I am writing this review in hopes someone else doesn’t have to go through , what we are going through. He will cut random wires and hoses and then just leave. We will be reporting him to the state and take him to small claims. STAY AWAY!!! DO NOT GIVE THIS GUY ANY BUSINESS, NONE! READ THE REVIEWS! Thankful we found an honest mechanic who is motivated to get our car up and running!
