Carlos Fernandez I order a part for my car on a Thursday and went to go buy it and they told me that by Friday the next day it would be ready and when I went go pick it up they weren’t even open. They put up a sign that they were in lunch from 9:30am that I was there to 11:30am. I can back at that time and nothing was opened and it was a Friday where they are suppose to be open.

We were in a huge bind and thankfully happened upon Calexico Auto Dismantlers. We could not be happier with Pablo and his company. He was professional, knowledgeable, helpful, patient personable and just all around great guy. Pricing was upfront, transparent and extremely fair. If there was an example of how a business should be run, this is it. Pablo even called after our repair and our long drive back to San Diego to make sure we were happy with the repair and made it home safely. Beth Rush We called this company around 6 pm to have our diesel RV diagnosed and possibly repaired after our check engine light came on and we were experiencing a loss of power.We called this company Calexico Mobile Truck Repair, apparently they are simply a dispatcher service who then contacts other company’s to do the actual work . We were billed by a company named Premier Break down solutions. ( which we were not aware of the company being just a broker /dispatcher at the time ) They offered us to come out that evening within 2 hours but since it was dark already we said No what time can you make it tomorrow. They stated first thing in the morning . We were in Glamis at that time and were fine with them coming out first thing in the morning . They charged us over the phone $1114.00 which was travel fees, minimum hourly rate and a dispatch fee. We paid it that evening . After sitting there all day they finally showed up around 3 in the afternoon. They sent 2 men who seemed nice but didn’t speak any English. They stated that the coolant was low and asked if we had any because they did not , luckily we did have coolant. They did put it in for us , not that we needed them to. They then had to call another man who spoke some English very broken and hard to understand English who told us that there was nothing else they could do and stated that it was a low pressure fuel problem . My husband then looked over it after speaking with our local mechanic in AZ and decided to change the 2 fuel filters. When doing this he discovered a vacuum line broken in half . By this time we already had the 2 new fuel filters and he also purchased supplies to repair the vacuum line . The vacuum line repair items cost my husband $2.83 !! When we sent pictures and spoke to our mechanic in AZ he couldn’t believe that they didn’t find the broken vacuum line , and stated there was no reason except incompetent mechanics and it should have never cost $1114.00 !! I wish I could give them negative stars!! I would advise not using either of these companies if you ever find yourself stranded in this area !! Total rip off !!

Mark Adams They only do semi trucks and they are good, Ive had them working on my semis coming in and out of Mexico often for the last year or so. Not cheap but best service Ive gotten in the area.

Abel Araujo Maybe my experience at this pepboys was anecdotal, I arrived just after opening and had 3 cars ahead of me for oil change. I figured how long could it take since its just an oil change, 3hrs later my car was still not done. I noticed the 2nd time I asked about my car all the mechanics were inside just chilling and when I ask the manager about why are these men not working on the vehicles his response was its hot outside mind you they work inside the shop. Poor leadership on behalf of manager Fernando Martinez, I strongly suggest the company sends Mr Martinez to some training classes on managing and soft skills. I for one will never return. And he lost a 1k tire sale with me guess ill take my business somewhere else.

Marla Tirado Reliable auto repair service. The only BIG issue is the waiting area, there is no A/C in a city where the temperature was as high as 108° outdoors (Calexico, CA) that day and waited over 4 hours. Though, there was a portacooler and cold water available, the place is poorly maintained, with dirty floors, unsanitary restrooms, and very neglected space that is inadequate for customers for the high price of services that is payed. Hope this place is handled better otherwise I will be looking for a different auto repair place soon.

Chirs Torres I recently had my car repaired at Mac Autotech, and I highly recommend them! After my car was totaled, they did a great job getting it ready for certification. They installed new airbags and seatbelts. They ensured the parts matched the interior color and everything was done cleanly. One important thing about their service was their attention to detail. After installation, they made sure the entire system was cleared and reset to factory settings. Resetting the chip was necessary to avoid any airbag and seatbelt errors on the dashboard before my certification inspection. The team at Mac Autotech was professional, knowledgeable, and did everything correctly. My car was certified and passed the DMV inspection. I was very satisfied with their work and will definitely recommend it to others.
