5 /5 Diana Darrow: This is such a great studio. The owner, Noreen, is wonderful. All the instructors here are wonderful. I started attending when I became pregnant and wanted to stay in shape but didn’t wanted to go about it in a safe manner. Everyone was so accommodating. They were knowledgeable and gave me modifications. The classes are really tough and the instructors push you to challenge yourself but it’s okay to go at your pace and no one makes you feel bad.

When I discovered Bar Method San Mateo, I found my tribe. Not only are the workouts address all that is needed for a gal who is 50 and fabulous, but the instructors and the attendees are the nicest bunch. It has also helped to keep me accountable. And I love their creative challenge ideas. Definitely forces me to push myself. Noreen is a wonderful person, so are all the instructors. It’s not just a workout bar, it’s a community. Sasha

It is great for toning and strengthening. In just one month of going I can see results and I feel great. I look forward to going to classes.The instructors are awesome. For me, Bar method has given me the best results compared to any other type of exercise I have done (Pilates on reformers, yoga, gym workouts, etc). It has changed my body- given me more muscle, but longer and leaner muscle instead of bulking up. Ive been going for a year or so, and it never gets old or easy! I am stronger and my posture is better than ever before. The San Mateo studio is so clean, beautiful, and welcoming. They are a fabulous group of instructors and staff, and its a pleasure coming to class!
