Isabella Villeggiante: LOVED IT!! I took the intro class with Feri and she was so welcoming and knowledgeable. She took the time to correct form and explain the machines in depth. I’ll definitely be back in class with Feri! The team was also very friendly and welcoming as well! Thank you
    GymClass - Belmont
Denice Leong: I am not a fan of working out and have a history of starting then stopping exercising. If the gym or exercise class is too far or requires me to get in my car to drive there, I always end up making an excuse. Ive only ever been consistent when I hired a personal trainer to come to my door to work out. When my trainer moved onto another career gig, I never bothered to look for a replacement. I relayed this information when I first met Shannon, the owner of Gym Class. A friend had told me about it a while back and I had reached a point where I knew I needed to start exercising. My only goal when I started was to create a routine where I would consistently show up. With Shannons support, I not only showed up every morning for the 7am workout, but I definitely got stronger. Shannon and Gen (another coach) are really good at gently pushing you, helping to make modifications, and keep you entertained while youre getting through your workout. They are also excellent at taking feedback or trying new things which you can really only do in a small gym setting. Lastly, the thing I wasnt expecting at all was to meet some kick ass women in the gym class community who are also encouraging me to show up and reach my own goals. I literally came for the small group workout and have found a wonderful little network of women as an added bonus.

Grace Chen: Terrible GYM. The staff are nice, except for Bob at the front desk! If I don’t bring my card for a single day, he has to start bickering about it and to be honest, it’s really embarrassing. The shampoo and conditioner are okay, but the shower water is never hot anymore! The locks are super bad. 1/3, the lock would not unlock. The indoor pool is also filthy. My swimming suit smells terrible after coming out, and the outdoor pool always has dirt at the bottom. The café also closes too early.
Bay Club Redwood Shores - Redwood City
    Bay Club Redwood Shores
Salamat Tussupbek: I previously had a disappointing experience at Bay Club Redwood Shores involving a lost Polar fitness watch and some confusion with the lost-and-found process. However, I want to update my review because the Club’s General Manager, James, handled the situation exceptionally well once it reached his attention. James took the time to look into the matter, communicated with me personally, and approached everything with professionalism and genuine care. I truly appreciate the effort he put into addressing my concern and ensuring that steps are taken to improve the process in the future. Thank you to James and the management team for taking responsibility and for the thoughtful gesture offered. I really appreciate it.
Prime Time Athletic Club - Burlingame
Kai Lu: The gym staff are extremely rude and unhelpful and highly snobbish. Would not recommend; for much less you can get a membership with 24 Hour Fitness, which has better lifting equipment, and several other dedicated athletic facilities in the area.
    RockSalt Pilates - San Mateo
Tam: My Favorite Pilates studio!! Most challenging and rewarding Pilates classes I’ve taken. Monica is an amazing instructor. I love her energy she brings before, during, and after the class.
    Barrys Burlingame - Burlingame
G: Great workout and parking across the street. The front desk was very sweet when I requested a different position for class. The locker rooms are a bit small but they are clean and filled with amenities, showers and bathrooms. The workouts are very fast paced and can be difficult to keep up with if you are new or need any modifications. Very nice location altogether.
    Basecamp Fitness Burlingame - Burlingame
Beast Mode: Basecamp has truly changed my life. I started going about two years ago, and I feel stronger now than ever before. Coach Euni is incredible—she challenges us to lift heavier, push harder, and go above and beyond. The 5 AM crew is next-level: high energy, hardcore, and hands down the best group of people to work out with!
Pilates V San Mateo - San Mateo
Jennifer Hui: This studio is spacious and clean. I really enjoyed my classes with Negging (Eva) Wang (my first Pilates class was taught by her as well) and she is very attentive, professional and making sure you are using the right pose and techniques. I learned a lot of breathing techniques as well from Eva and I am happy with the improvement so far!
Powerhouse Gym Elite - Redwood City
    Powerhouse Gym Elite
Ted S: Powerhouse gym is a breath of fresh air. I have been working out for 40 plus years and it’s rare to find a facility that offers great equipment, nice and courteous members and a wonderful staff. This is the place that gets me motivated and push myself because others are also interested in being their best. It is fun again, even at my age to hit the gym. I look forward to working out everyday. Thank you powerhouse gym for standing out in a crowded field of mediocrity.
