  • FIT4MOM SF Peninsula - San Carlos
Jane Menyo: Love doing Fit4Mom classes! Its a wonderful community to be a part of, the instructors go out of their way to make everyone feel welcomed, it truly feels like working out with a crew of friends from day 1. I started classes during my maternity leave, they were mindful of movements offering progressions and options if you were still working your strength back up. Since then, its continued to be a great support system!
CorePower Yoga - Redwood City - Redwood City
Lilly Glad: Love how when the water fountain is broken they want to CHARGE you for water or send you to Starbucks! The hundreds of dollars we spend monthly on membership, they can’t even provide you with the most basic need of water. This actually puts their members in danger of heat stroke and dehydration
Bayshore Elite Gymnastics - Redwood City
Ori Shimon: We had such a wonderful experience hosting our 5-year-old daughter’s birthday here! The kids had an amazing time, and Lucas and Sarah were fantastic coaches—warm, energetic, and so great with the children. This place is perfect for parties, and we’re even considering it for after-school activities for our kids. Highly recommend!
Gladiators Boxing Gym - Redwood City
Cesar Fletes: Gyms in general can be intimidating, boxing gyms I believe can be even more intimidating. I wanted to sign up my son for something that would help with his endurance, teach him some self defense, and exert a lot of energy. The coach we met on day one was extremely friendly and welcoming. The kids in the pee wee training were also extremely welcoming to my little 6 year old who can be shy and has a hard time trying new experience. Id definitely recommend this location to others.
Adaptive Physical Education - Redwood City

My Gym San Carlos - San Carlos

Arrillaga Family Gymnasium - Menlo Park
Sami L: Used to be good. We have an active group of people that has been using this gym regularly since the beginning (2010). It is the only place in Bay Area where you can play this particular sport. We have won multiple national championships with our team. Our gear is stored at the facility and anyone is welcome to just drop in and play. Over the years we were happy with our very late evening mid-week time slots and we were willing to be flexible whenever there was a need for us to adjust the starting time. This all changed last spring, when gym announced to us that they will be prioritizing other sports over us. They pushed us to weekend slots that obviously dont work well for most people. Consequently, we lost almost half of our active players and have been struggling to get good games going when turn-out is low. Interestingly, at the same time, gym increased our rate by 50%. That isnt the biggest deal since rate is still reasonable but losing mid-week slots really hurts our sport. I wonder how city of Menlo Park, who operates the gym, justifies discriminating certain sports? We have been actively trying to find alternate locations but with a short notice and due to need to access our gear, it has been difficult to find alternatives. Most of the employees at the gym are nice and helpful, so nothing against them. Facilities are good with two full-size basketball courts divided by a curtain. This review mostly reflects gym policies toward our group and may be relevant if there are any other groups considering using these facilities. I hope that city of Menlo Park realizes this unfair practice of giving priority to certain sports over others and changes the policy.

BaySport at Towers Shores Center - Redwood City
A K: Baysport is amazing. I had a truly pleasant experience and looked forward to each session (minus the pain haha). Very professional, reliable and personable. I went after a foot surgery and hope to return for other issues not related to the surgery. I am an avid cyclist and cant recommend Baysport enough.
    SBM Fitness - Menlo Park
Alec Scott: SBM is an exceptional place to seek help toward achieving your health and fitness goals. They offer something for everyone and can help you get started or get to the next level! I personally have taken some Pilates sessions with Mia and it was appropriately challenging and very rewarding! This is also a family run business that puts the client experience first and to me you cannot put a price on that! The value for money was outstanding but the experience and passion that was offered by the staff and ownership is worth so much more!
