Strong Fit & Happy - Redwood City
BaySport at Towers Shores Center - Redwood City
A K: Baysport is amazing. I had a truly pleasant experience and looked forward to each session (minus the pain haha). Very professional, reliable and personable. I went after a foot surgery and hope to return for other issues not related to the surgery. I am an avid cyclist and cant recommend Baysport enough.
SBM Fitness - Menlo Park
Alec Scott: SBM is an exceptional place to seek help toward achieving your health and fitness goals. They offer something for everyone and can help you get started or get to the next level! I personally have taken some Pilates sessions with Mia and it was appropriately challenging and very rewarding! This is also a family run business that puts the client experience first and to me you cannot put a price on that! The value for money was outstanding but the experience and passion that was offered by the staff and ownership is worth so much more!
RockSalt Pilates - Redwood City
Amirah Syrah: Not my type of Pilates. Showed up 10 minutes early and noticed we didn’t warm up before going into some pretty intense cardio based movement. Pilates classes geared around stretching are suppose to be restorative, lengthening etc but it just felt too aggressive from the minute the class started. The instructor moved very quickly through demonstrating and if you weren’t a regular, picking up the movement is very difficult. If you’re a Pilates beginner, just getting back into shape or need a much more welcomed approach, I’d choose another studio. This is more of a cardio Pilates method to be exact.
MPX Strength Studio - Menlo Park
Michal Carmel: Best workout for core & strength! Super challenging and satisfying, 45/60 minutes of maximum power and accuracy. Leigh Ann is very passionate and super professional - one of the best workouts I’ve experienced!
Rise Above Strength & Recovery - Belmont
Dave S: From Doug’s First Responder class to Adult and Youth athletic training; Rise Above is the place to train! Whatever level of fitness you are at Coach Doug will help you get better. Kettlebell centric workouts along with full body circuits are so much fun! Coach Doug also specializes in stretch therapy and personal training for injuries and specific sports. Check it out!
Jazzercise - San Carlos
Jenny Truong: I discovered Jazzercise a few months ago at this studio and am enjoying the cardio dance workouts. Instructors bring great energy, the music is awesome and the studio owner Sandy is welcoming, communicative and professional. Bright, clean, spacious studio.
Precision Martial Arts and Fitness - Redwood City
Fraser Street: Coach Curry is excellent with the kids. Our daughter has been doing karate for many years and we are very pleased with their program. They do a lot of conditioning, every day it’s a good workout in a positive atmosphere.
barre3 - Menlo Park
Claudia Molins: I can’t recommend this barre class enough! The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming, creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The instructor brings such vibrant energy to every session—it’s contagious! Each class is the perfect mix of challenging and fun, keeping you engaged while pushing you to get stronger. I always leave feeling accomplished and uplifted. A true gem of a workout experience!
