barre3 - Menlo Park
Claudia Molins: I can’t recommend this barre class enough! The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming, creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The instructor brings such vibrant energy to every session—it’s contagious! Each class is the perfect mix of challenging and fun, keeping you engaged while pushing you to get stronger. I always leave feeling accomplished and uplifted. A true gem of a workout experience!
Gym 3 - Redwood City
Equinox Palo Alto - Palo Alto
Ane Almeida: Equinox is a good gym, with good equipment and everything in excellent condition. I take almost all of the dance classes, because it is something I love very much. My favorite teachers, Soo Kim and Izzy Cervantes, are without a doubt the best endorphins you can find at Equinox. However, yesterday we had a problem that has been with us for a few months and even since last summer. The sound equipment and air conditioning were malfunctioning again. I am incredulous that even paying over $300 per month, this problem has not been resolved. We have at least 30 people in each dance class. I believe that the amount you receive from all of us could pay for a new air conditioning system and adequate sound for the teachers to work and for us to have a decent class without getting sick from the heat. Today, as per the email I received, I arrived on time for the class, with a 5-minute delay because I needed to use the restroom. However, a staff member Desiree, prevented me from entering the class. I completely understand the gyms rules, which is why I did not insist on entering. I would like to suggest that, just as you were diligent in preventing me from entering the class, the same diligence be applied to resolving the issues with the air conditioning and sound system. With more than 30 clients in the room, and the air conditioning at this temperature, they will only change it when someone faints from the heat, thats all, so far nothing has changed, just a small fan in front of the sound system, what a lack of empathy for a gym that I pay $315 a month for, and a room that has 30 students, how long will this continue? I would like to thank you in advance for your attention and understanding in understanding my disappointment with Equinox.
Gym 2 - Redwood City
Yvhvt - Redwood City
Rebecca Hammond: State of the art strength and recovery center, including turf zone and sleds, free weights, functional fitness equipment; recovery wise, with cryo therapy, normatec boots, infra red… with a chill and welcoming vibe.
The Perfect Workout - Menlo Park
Zhenni Wu: I’ve been training at The Perfect Workout in Menlo Park and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The team here is incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, and truly invested in helping you reach your goals. Each session is efficient, focused, and tailored to your needs. I’m definitely seeing results and feel stronger every week. Highly recommend this location if you’re serious about getting fit with the guidance of a great team!
24 Hour Fitness - Mountain View
24 Hour Fitness
Kelly C: As a young woman who lifts up to 30 lbs, it’s beyond frustrating that the weights are never where they’re supposed to be. I end up wandering all over the gym trying to hunt them down like it’s some weird scavenger hunt. They can be anywhere from the entrance to the studio to even the cardio equipment. Not cute. Also… can we talk about the vibes? Some of the guys here are seriously creepy. I shouldn’t have to feel like I’m being watched just because I’m in a sports bra doing rows. The manager really needs to step it up. Hes constantly blaming "corporate" for machines being down and attachments being missing. Instruct your staff to keep things clean, organized, and maybe make sure the dumbbells actually make it back to the racks? It’s not rocket science.
Functional Lifestyles - Palo Alto
Genevieve Brassard: Ive started working out at Functional Lifestyles in May 2025, going to their group workouts and checking in with coach Francisco Guiao. Im mostly a runner, I was looking to add strength training to my routine and didnt know where to start. I love this gym. Their group workouts are fun, motivating and theres a low client/coach ratio so the coaches really make sure your form is good and correct you. I also love that I dont have to plan my workouts / use the machines. Personal coaching sessions with Francisco have been very individualized to my needs and tailored to my goals. I now feel stronger and more confident. I would 100% recommend.
Lagree Fitness Club - Palo Alto
Carley Nelson: An amazing place to get a good workout for people of all levels of fitness. Beginners dont be afraid to try something new! At L/F/C the instructors give great demos, are always attentive, and make sure to guide you to those Lagree Shakes. Highly recommend trying them out, you might just find your new favorite place to workout!
My Gym - Palo Alto
Heidi Mohd Ibrahim: I bring my daughter here everyday. She has shown great progress since enrolling into My Gym last year. We love the instructors: Kiki, Eboni, Isiah, Max and Sofia. They are amazing in creating a great space for children to thrive. Definitely a place to bring your kids!
