  • The Perfect Workout - Menlo Park
Zhenni Wu: I’ve been training at The Perfect Workout in Menlo Park and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The team here is incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, and truly invested in helping you reach your goals. Each session is efficient, focused, and tailored to your needs. I’m definitely seeing results and feel stronger every week. Highly recommend this location if you’re serious about getting fit with the guidance of a great team!
24 Hour Fitness - Mountain View
    24 Hour Fitness
Kelly C: As a young woman who lifts up to 30 lbs, it’s beyond frustrating that the weights are never where they’re supposed to be. I end up wandering all over the gym trying to hunt them down like it’s some weird scavenger hunt. They can be anywhere from the entrance to the studio to even the cardio equipment. Not cute. Also… can we talk about the vibes? Some of the guys here are seriously creepy. I shouldn’t have to feel like I’m being watched just because I’m in a sports bra doing rows. The manager really needs to step it up. Hes constantly blaming "corporate" for machines being down and attachments being missing. Instruct your staff to keep things clean, organized, and maybe make sure the dumbbells actually make it back to the racks? It’s not rocket science.
    Functional Lifestyles - Palo Alto
Genevieve Brassard: Ive started working out at Functional Lifestyles in May 2025, going to their group workouts and checking in with coach Francisco Guiao. Im mostly a runner, I was looking to add strength training to my routine and didnt know where to start. I love this gym. Their group workouts are fun, motivating and theres a low client/coach ratio so the coaches really make sure your form is good and correct you. I also love that I dont have to plan my workouts / use the machines. Personal coaching sessions with Francisco have been very individualized to my needs and tailored to my goals. I now feel stronger and more confident. I would 100% recommend.
Lagree Fitness Club - Palo Alto
Carley Nelson: An amazing place to get a good workout for people of all levels of fitness. Beginners dont be afraid to try something new! At L/F/C the instructors give great demos, are always attentive, and make sure to guide you to those Lagree Shakes. Highly recommend trying them out, you might just find your new favorite place to workout!
    My Gym - Palo Alto
Heidi Mohd Ibrahim: I bring my daughter here everyday. She has shown great progress since enrolling into My Gym last year. We love the instructors: Kiki, Eboni, Isiah, Max and Sofia. They are amazing in creating a great space for children to thrive. Definitely a place to bring your kids!
Palo Alto Family YMCA - Palo Alto
Brian M: The front desk personnel are super nice. The gym equipments were dated. I put membership on hold but automatically came off without notifying me and I was then charged automatically for couple months. The manager refused to refund even I didn’t use the service at all during the period.
    Orangetheory Fitness - Palo Alto
Jasmine Shi: Misleading advertising, they won’t give you the benefit they promised. 1. When I signed up for the membership, the sales representative told me that I would receive a $100 gift card once I joined. She never mentioned that I had to subscribe to the Premier Membership for two consecutive months in order to qualify. 2. If she had informed me about this condition from the beginning, I would not have joined your plan at all. This is one of the main reasons I feel I was misled. 3. I am willing to believe that the staff lady who helped me might not have been aware of such a tricky policy. I started asking about the gift card last week — which was already two weeks after my subscription (I was supposed to receive the gift card within one week). Then the lady kept saying she would check for me, but only today did I finally learn about this hidden policy. I consider this deceptive to consumers. 4. If this policy truly exists, why wasn’t I informed the first time I asked? I followed up multiple times regarding the gift card — two weeks after subscribing, then again this Monday, when I was told I would receive an answer by Friday. In reality, no one followed up; I had to go to the store myself before receiving a call. I believe this was a serious act of intentional concealment. When I questioned why I had never been informed of this condition, the studio director simply insisted that I didn’t qualify because I downgraded my second month, and even told me that if I didn’t listen to her explanation, she would hang up and call me again on Monday. Excuse me? It was your team who failed to clearly communicate the terms and misled me into subscribing, and now you’re forcing me to accept an unreasonable excuse.
Barrys Palo Alto - Palo Alto
Jeanette G: Love this Barry’s! The receptionists are always kind and smiling, and the gym is super clean. A huge shout out to instructor Peter B., who truly motivates his students!
Oshman Family JCC - Palo Alto
ginnie doh: No 0 stars option here. The gym staff is lazy and uninterested. * The business model is personal-pay-for-instruction. Nobody would ever answer your question unless you pay extra. Broken machine? Non-existent AC? Who cares? * Theres an eighty year old lady who can hardly walk who comes regularly. Nobody on the staffs ever chatted her up or offered her help. They are so busy with themselves in their little cage they never noticed her. Yes, the other guests always help her move between the machines. * Feels like a school library with everybody scrolling their cell while occupying a good machine * This is an overpriced institution. Moving back to the Y.
Broadcom Promontory F Gym - Palo Alto
Hemant Joshi: Only reasons why this place is not five stars are: 1. It is only for VMware employees 2. Locker room is bit smaller than I will prefer Gym staff is friendly and helpful. Have nice variety of equipments and classes. Best of all, it is really really clean. Cherries on the top are: 1. Squash Court 2. Fruits 3. Special activities they plan to keep members engaged. 4. Assistance provided to participate local fitness events
