1 /5 Clifton: I never applied for a loan with Lendmark Financial Services, yet I received a letter dated 07/31/2025 claiming I had submitted a credit application on 06/30/2025, and signed by FRANCISCO AGUILERA. This is extremely misleading and concerning, as it gives the impression that I applied for credit when I did not.
Sending out letters that look like pending loan applications is a deceptive marketing tactic and creates unnecessary worry about possible identity theft or fraud. A legitimate company should not misrepresent a marketing solicitation as if it were tied to an actual application.
This experience has completely destroyed my trust in Lendmark. If this is how they try to get new customers, I can only imagine what the actual loan process would be like. I would not recommend doing business here.
