Anyway after I found some old jewelry that I havent worn in decades and I found out the current gold prices arent bad, I decided to find a place to sell them. First I drove way too far to a branch of a small chain of buy gold stores. They lowballed me with a 64% of spot price, then they kept on haggling with me with the "let me call the manager" tactics. at the end, even after they have finally offered me a not too bad price, I still left because i didnt care that trying to squeeze as much money out of the customers business model.
Then I did some more research and found LAcashforgold. they are the only one with an upfront buy price on their site. I was very surprised no one else has that kind of transparency with buying/selling commodities! gold is gold is gold. Like gas stations dont ask you "so how much do you want to pay for a gallon of gas?
