4 /5 Michelle Gates: This store focuses on semi-precious stones as fashion jewelry rather than fine jewelry. For example, the metal is gold plated brass rather than solid gold.
There is a focus on being able to customize the stones in your jewelry to make it unique.
Since everything in the store is from a specific designer, the exact colors and offerings change seasonally. I was drawn to the ruby-red pieces, but there were a lot of colors to choose from.
I found some large, dramatic fashion necklaces as well as a lot of more wearable dainty pieces when I visited.
A lot of the pieces had a strong color to them, making them good to coordinate with an outfit. For example, a chocker might have a focal stone and then a similar color stone might be used as beads for the chain.
When I visited, I noticed the style of many of the pieces seemed to be a bit more structured and geometric (as opposed to a free-form, fluid organic style).
