2 /5 Aaron McGee: I went to get my wifes wedding band and engagement ring soldered together and my ring resized. My ring was resized fine but the soldering on my wifes rings was really bad. The band was custom made to fit her engagement ring and it was very off center, the back of the ring had pits in it and wasn’t smooth. 5-10 minutes after pick up a stone fell out. We went back and she immediately said she’d fix it and my wife asked for the soldering job to be fixed as well and we found out she sends it out to someone else to get worked on. It took longer to get the rings back so she refunded us completely, however, the soldering “fix” came back still a little off center and the back was worse. We expected better quality of work but were very disappointed

She is extremely knowledgeable, professional and personable. The quality of her pieces is top notch and her custom design work is impeccable. She goes out of her way to get her clients the best quality diamonds and semi-precious stones. I love that I can show her a picture and she can make it come to life in a unique way. She has a long-standing background in fine jewelry and it shows. Im so glad I found her!! She is no longer just my jeweler, she has become a dear friend.

That day, Elaine was so patient and helpful, she let me try on ring after ring, held up stone after stone to different bands for me to see, and talked me through the process of creating the custom ring of my DREAMS! I left that day with a deposit down, received the CAD design a week or so later, and my ring was ready in another week or two. When I picked it up, her and her team helped me look at all the wedding bands I liked to decide what I should send my fiancé back for later ;) Elaine helped me realize my vision, and made sure that the end result was everything exactly as I wanted. She answered all my questions and made sure the ring was an affordable option for us. She was so kind, creative, inspiring, and reassuring during this process. I’m a total beginner and found her to be nice, friendly and super patient with me as I literally had never done anything like this before. Because it was a small group setting we got a lot of 1:1 attention which I appreciated (again, beginner here), and also a lot of help in thinking through our designs and how best to go about bringing them to life. It was a long class, but the time really flies while you work through the process of cutting out your shape, smoothing and polishing it. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a small group setting, individual attention, and a fun and friendly environment to do something creative!
