Very knowledgeable, incredibly patient, and kind. She did not give up on finding an answer or price on any item we were even just a little bit curious about!     Ashley Brown: I want to share my experience. I (a black woman) walked into this place professionally dressed wanting to sell some scrap gold. The man behind the counter literally looked me up and down and said he’s not buying gold right now. I noted the sign that says they were buying gold and I said “ok thank you” I left feeling uneasy, also because this man stared at me the whole time I was in the parking lot…so I called a friend who is Caucasian and was actually the person that told me to go into the shop in the first place as they have bought gold from her many times. She went in an hour after me and the man gave her the royal treatment and said yes indeed they were buying gold. I had ANOTHER (Caucasian) friend go in and she asked if they were buying gold and he also told her yes! My friend then explained to him that I had gone in hours before and he told me he wasn’t buying gold. I was on the phone in her pocket listening to his reason as to why he told me no. He explained that his fingerprint machine was down but he never explained that to me. When I asked my friends who have sold gold there before about being fingerprinted they said he’s never fingerprinted them. Not only that, but my friend who had just walked in and simply asked if they were buying gold, he told her yes…no fingerprint mention! I am appalled at the treatment I received and will obviously never give this company any of my business. I hope no-one gets treated as I did.
