    Max Kim: I have been going to Lion Heart Fitness for a month and have been training with Denis. He is a super chill guy who gives great feedback and workout routine. He noticed that my balance needs some work and has given me routines that I have never done but helped me with my problem. He not only is helping me achieve the fitness level I desire by giving me workout routines but he also gives me nutrition advice to improve my body’s health. The gym is small but has everything one needs to workout. The people are kind and very supportive.

    Lukas Plascencia: The athletic training I’ve been receiving at Matador this past year has given me a huge edge in my overall performance. My flexibility has greatly improved; strength of both upper and lower body has increased. It has made me a more effective junior athlete and gave my confidence a tremendous boost. Plus the gym has a great vibe, trainers are all very friendly and since the recent expansion the amount of training space is awesome.

    Peter Sun: Update: On 1/28 clients were allowed to enter past the “strict cut off” while I was denied a few days earlier. 2/8 tech was down for entire class (no screens with exercises or performance tracking) and front desk showed up 45 mins late. The coach truly did the best that she could on her own. Showers are broken and dirty. Clearly management doesn’t have a grasp on its inconsistent policy or operation. Worst location I’ve been to in the US. — Coaches are strong. Customer service is horrible. On 1//21 Liz and Ramzi didn’t let me enter class because I was 11 seconds past the cut off for class entry and turned me away. It feels like the staff don’t have your back. As a regular, I’m so disappointed. I’ve been to 10 locations across the US and have never had to have such an unreasonable conversation with the front desk (while staring at a timer with staff and talking about the significance of 11 seconds).

    Wayne Bui: Been wanting to try Barry’s out since 2010. Finally tried it on a Friday the 13th of 2025 haha best workout. Love the instructor Matt W. And David P. as well. Been going consistently for over 3 months. Also workout at LA Fitness and Gold’s. Barry’s is a nice interval HIIT mix to add to routine. I also do other interval workouts, spin classes, Pilates, and Lagree. I also want to add, the Parking Lot in back is free up until 10AM. Starting at 10AM you get 90 minutes free and have to return to pay for additional time or you will be ticketed. They do limit how long you can park from 10AM-6PM.

Every time I dropped him off, I had total peace of mind knowing he was in a safe and supportive place, receiving direct, expert attention from the coaches. Their communication is also clear and easy to follow, which is a huge help for my busy schedule. The program is fantastic because it focuses on injury prevention and proper technique first. My son is now visibly stronger, more confident, and most importantly, he has learned how to safely build power and endurance. The coaches are positive and motivating every step of the way. The Jump Lab is truly dedicated to the well-being of young athletes. My family appreciates this Pasadena gem!

    Sabrena Russell: Carina’s semi-personal training is perfect for someone like me who is intimidated by a regular gym! Carina provides a workout that is tailored to your personal capabilities. Before starting with Carina I joined a gym I never even stepped foot in! I didn’t think working out was for me, but Carina changed all that. I have been going to her for the past 3 years and it has been great! It’s also nice to work out with only a few people at a time.

    Robin Darcy Smith: I am committed! Awesome workout, fun and effective. My running is improving week by week! I did have a little body issue today and did not feel I could run so I walked the incline; I still had an awesome workout. I think this is a great workout for some of our injured runners and those others that want to get a great session without running...check it out! You will not be disappointed, I promise ;)

    Ashley Arroyo: Home away from home. Gym has 24/7 access which is my favorite feature, can come in anytime, stay as late as I want and not have to worry about getting harassed or bothered. CrossFit side of the gym is amazing if you like working out in a group/coach setting, workouts are fun and challenging an added bonus is working out people of all sorts of levels. Other side is the more solo go at your own pace, have access to weightlifting platform along with a bunch of free weights & lots of other fun gym equipment. Will never go back to a globo gym setting again. This environment is safe and friendly, you won’t get harassed or bothered but also have the option to be fun and engaging and meet great people.
