Never any pressure to purchase and the staff is always offering to clean my jewelry, even items that were not purchased there! Jamie Hartman: Tom Sr and Tom Jr did an amazing job with my ring, I had no clue my husband was working with them to make my 20 year Anniversary ring. The ring is amazing and I couldnt ask for a better present. Their customer service is spot on and they were very welcoming from the moment I walked into to their store to the minute I left. Marissa F: Got my first non-lobe piercing here, a tragus. Kiki was the one who pierced my ears and while she was very helpful and nice, she was unable to correctly pierce my ear. Admittedly I was handed a mirror to check where she was piercing, however the way it was positioned given it seemed fine the way she marked it... I believe she pierced it closer than where she marked it and it may have caused her to hit a nerve. There was an unecessary amount of pain and amount of blood and shortly after getting it pierced and when she seemed to fully get the piercing through. When my mom was about to pay, I felt fuzzy and lightheaded and blacked out for a few seconds. Kiki told my mom it was normal and it happened all the time and went next door to get me orange juice. When I got into the car I couldnt move my hands or else they would become numb and freeze in place like if they were paralyzed and I couldnt get up for a short period of time and was feeling nauseous during it. I got my second one redone at a different shop in Modesto and it did not hurt nearly as much and there was little to no blood. I didnt black out or feel paralyzed either. Overall not a good experience getting pierced at In Bloom but the workers are polite and the piercing didnt cost much ($40). I will be getting re-peirced.

Alondra Avila: Special shout out to Ed Melen!! Hes trully the sweetest and kindest! He did not pressure to buy anything and instead took the time to get to know us and our wants! (which is sooo relieving considering the fact that jewelry stores usually pressure you into buying shiny things) They really take the time to show you things your interested in, answer ALL questions, see your options and more. We ended up buying some beatiful earrings with a great warranty. I definitely recommend this place.

Sarrah Brown: They are a rip off! I brought my rings in because some diamonds were loose. I received an email stating it would be around $300 to fix. Great! A week later, I get a phone call saying it’s going to be at least $1050 or more to fix and take 4-5 weeks to complete. They would not acknowledge the email sent to me. I said send my rings back. They called said my rings were there. Well only my wedding band was there but not my engagement ring. They said I hadn’t confirmed if I wanted it fixed or not. If I don’t want one fixed, why would I fix the other one? So that took another week. No one takes responsibility. One associate said it shouldn’t be that much and she would call me in two days. Never heard from her. I took my rings to Ripon Jewelers on a Thursday, they called me on Friday to say it would cost $340 to repair BOTH rings. They couldn’t understand why Kay was charging so much. Ripon Jewelers even completed more on my ring. I had it back by Saturday. Three days total to repair my ring! What an amazing experience and almost a quarter of the price. I will never go to Kay Jewelers again due to their lack of customer service and trying to rip people off.
