He measured everything carefully, explained everything really well and it was a great experience overall. Not only is this a super clean, family oriented company but they are so sweet and patient. Not to mention UNIQUE!! I know I am a hand full to deal with but they were patient and did not rush anything. I cannot wear fake jewelry whatsoever. Since Bodys & Jewelry opened up, I have had 7 piercings here. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND B&J to anyone! I have been pierced in many cities, San Luis Obispo by far has been my favorite! I was given lots of information on how to care for my piercings and I purchased their after care products! BEST PRODUCTS I HAVE EVER TRIED!! Even if you dont get a piercing here, GO GET YOUR AFTER CARE PRODUCTS & JEWELRY, YOU WONT REGRET IT! SUPER THANK YOU to my piercer & my associate who booked all my appointments, she was really sweet and on it! I look forward to my next visit!

Ashley Brown: I want to share my experience. I (a black woman) walked into this place professionally dressed wanting to sell some scrap gold. The man behind the counter literally looked me up and down and said he’s not buying gold right now. I noted the sign that says they were buying gold and I said “ok thank you” I left feeling uneasy, also because this man stared at me the whole time I was in the parking lot…so I called a friend who is Caucasian and was actually the person that told me to go into the shop in the first place as they have bought gold from her many times. She went in an hour after me and the man gave her the royal treatment and said yes indeed they were buying gold. I had ANOTHER (Caucasian) friend go in and she asked if they were buying gold and he also told her yes! My friend then explained to him that I had gone in hours before and he told me he wasn’t buying gold. I was on the phone in her pocket listening to his reason as to why he told me no. He explained that his fingerprint machine was down but he never explained that to me. When I asked my friends who have sold gold there before about being fingerprinted they said he’s never fingerprinted them. Not only that, but my friend who had just walked in and simply asked if they were buying gold, he told her yes…no fingerprint mention! I am appalled at the treatment I received and will obviously never give this company any of my business. I hope no-one gets treated as I did.
