Seth Nguyen I just thought the waxing services done here were very nice. Also they are somewhat flexible with prices and courteous to a lot of the customers they had. The employee named Jenny or Loan is whole lot of fun to talk to and has some very nice designs for nails as she been doing nails for 20 years in that same old store. So if youre near by, try it out because its definitely worth going to.

Jon Shields The ladies here are fantastic, they do a great job on our Mani and Pedys. My wife has been going here for years. She forced me to go have a pedicure, its nice to have nails takin care of, besides how soft they are for my wifes she loves it. My feet enjoy the service aswell, they scrub your feet clean of the dead skin doing nails and cuticles. Must do it guys, your wife or girlfriend will appreciate it.

Koko S The People are lovely. But the quality of work is had was bad. These pics are 5 days post paying 110 dollars for a pedicure and hard gel nails. Really wanted to like those place because the people were so sweet. But cant go back cause it was basically a waste since my gel peeled

Judith S. Ive been coming to Sam for the past 5+ years and she never fails to amaze me with her skills. I always leave super happy with new sets from her. Sam and Tina have years of experience and are someone who I truly trust!! This is her new shop and new endeavor for her and Im so excited to continue to be her client ‍. Shes a perfectionist and truly enjoys leaving everyone satisfied. Sooooo, come by the shop and do your nails here. You wont regret it. Maybe its new to this area but definitely a new gem and a must visit nail shop.

Las Primas De Leon I love coming to Sam. She has years of experience. I bring my friends and family to get our nails done with her. Sam and Tina are super kind and perfectionist at their work. I know Sam for years and love her new shop. It’s so clean, minimalist and so chic. She’s the best at making sure you’re satisfied. If you love nails with art, come here. I definitely recommend come by to her new shop :)

Kylie Lewis They said walkins welcome online and when I came in they had a bunch of people standing around with one customer inside and they wanted me to come back later, If youre pressed for time, this is not the place to go. They just missed out on a $100 service.

Sharmagne Leland-St.John-Sylbert OMGosh! I went here for the first time and from now on it’ll be the only place I’ll go. It was difficult to find thanks to WAZE, but if you can believe it Ana called me back to ask if I was lost and guided me in. I accidentally smudged the pinkie nail and she immediately repaired it without scolding me! The salon was clean and had a lovely aroma and calming music. I got a neck and hand massage all for only $20.00 plus tax. They allowed me to add the tip onto my credit card. Everyone in the salon was friendly including other clients. It made my day! I was tired of the expensive bad manicures in Sierra Madre!

Madeleine ** EDIT 9/27/21** I left this same review with the salon’s internal review system last night, and received a text from them this morning extending sincere apologies and offering to make the situation better. I am impressed with their responsiveness and will continue to update this review. *** Making the appointment was easy and I was greeted warmly upon arriving. They even let me add a pedicure last minute, which I really appreciated. This was my first time getting acrylics. The lady doing my acrylic set seemed like she was rushing, and continually got frustrated with me not knowing how the process worked/ how to relax my arm/hand. It felt like she took advantage that it was my first time getting acrylics. She got the shape right and beautiful for most of my nails, but really did a sloppy job on other nails. When buffing down the acrylic with the drill, she cut into my right cuticle/ finger,making me bleed - and DIDNT EVEN NOTICE until I said something. She did put Neosporin on the wound. There were bubbles in the topcoat paint, and she didnt take care to fully paint the tips of my acrylic nails, so the tips look incomplete. Overall really disappointed in the service here and will not be returning. My set looked ratty and sloppy.

Chrissy Carr Tracy did a great job on my nails and I appreciate them squeezing me in today. Very clean and nice atmosphere. I actually had fun which is not my usual experience at salons. Ill definitely be back

Jo Simms In the Electric Car charging area next to Holiday Inn. Very kind staff - pre-booked an appt at 6pm for mani/pedi... charged me $55 for what most charge for one or the other! Cant get gel or other be cause my nails are too thin. B+ rating!!

Monique Padilla I love coming here. Its nice and calm everytime I come. Its not overcrowded like some other places where you have to wait 30 minutes even with an appointment. If you have an appointment, they see you at that time. They take their time and do a great job. I highly recommend this nail salon.

Mariela Qirici I got a gel mani and regular pedicure (I got the Bella Pedicure which included callous removal). The ladies were very attentive and super nice. They started off with shaping of the nails while dry, then soak and very thorough cuticle removal, then polish (she even noticed that I was closely inspecting my nails and offered to do a 3rd color coat without me asking which was awesome - I have very white nail tips so some colors take more coats to cover the nail evenly), and lastly massage which was wonderful :).

Mark Garcia Really good work and very nice people. I usually call ahead to make an appointment as they can get busy. They take great care of my Moms nails and sometimes I get my nails cleaned up after long trips. They do a great job and very friendly.

Keila Vizcarra I really like coming here for my “self-care” day. I usually get a pedicure with a foot massage. I’ve never had a bad experience here, everyone is so nice, and the prices are fair. This place is also very clean which is important to me. Definitely recommend coming here.

Nicole Parker I had been coming to this nail salon for years when I lived in the area and whenever I’m in town this place is my go to. I love Lee! She’s so sweet and personable, the only tech to touch my nails or feet. They’ve done done updates—the space is quaint and cute. Reasonable prices, about $30 for a gel manicure.

Also, shes gentle yet thorough so I walk away happy! Also, shes excellent with mani/pedis. Tons of experience, great quality and selection of colors. VERY reasonable prices for the quality! She is the best!

Stephany Moreno I have been doing manicure and pedicure at this nail salon for a year and I have tried different manicurists and Sun is one of the best doing pedicures. She takes her time, cleans your cuticle very well, and if you have an ingrown toenail, she does everything possible to make sure you are pain-free. The owner Jenny is very nice and kind. The place is clean and the location it’s great, easy to find parking spot.

jessae brown Found my new local spot! Amy was amazing. I like short, pointy acrylic nails which most nail techs argue with me about saying I need them to be longer. Amy shaped them EXACLY how I asked and they look and feel perfect. I found both the mani and the pedi ti be great and decent prices.

Carolina McGarity The best salon I’ve ever been to! I am blown away. I came here for my wedding nails, got a Russian gel mani pedi. I got a chrome semi-shiny finish, it looked STUNNING and the girls were quick and very nice. And I kid you not — MY NAILS HAVE STAYED IN PLACE FOR 1.25 MONTHS AND COUNTING!! I’m adding pictures as proof, I can hardly believe it. I haven’t taken the gel off because I was curious how long it would last. Every single other gel mani I’ve gotten has lasted 2 weeks max! I wish I lived in Pasadena so I could go here all the time!!

Mariam Anneyan Services are way too overpriced, especially for gel x. 2 week retention for gel x nails is absolutely horrible. I havent had much of a problem before. The nail technicians are very talented at what they do, but the management there rushes them to fit as many appointments they can within the day.

arturo alfaro Honestly first time getting a manicure done due to my job making my hands always dry and crusty but hands down Montse gave me new hands after the manicure. I have never seen my hands like this before thank you for what you do. Her suit looks amazing. I will definitely recommend her!!!!

SEL Ive been coming to Tinzee for many years now and, although though these owners are new, the quality and customer service is the reason that, whenever I am in Pasadena, I make sure to book a spa mani/pedi! My mani/pedi picture is a week old, so you can see how it looks even after a week later! If only Tinzee would expand to the Central Coast! Highly recommend them!

My nails have grown out so long and they’re still healthy. Looking forward to going back and getting some beautiful designs!

lara liu This nail spa is my top choice. Ive been a regular for six months, opting for a new style every three weeks. The skill of the technicians is outstanding, with a keen focus on detail. What stands out the most is that despite frequently changing styles and applying or removing gel coats, my nails remain undamaged. Their gentle approach, avoiding harsh chemicals for gel removal and being careful while polishing, truly makes a difference. The halo effect on my nails is a testament to their perfect gel application. I wouldnt consider going to another spa in SGV.

Vane I have got my nails done here for 3 years. The environment is comfortable. My nails always last for 2 months. Highly recommended.

Sidni Contreras Its sad I have to give this place such a bad review because Fifi does good nails, is quick and the price is really good. But oh boy is she a hot head! I always walk in, never have an appt as its always a last minute decision I make to go on my lunch break, and both girls who work there (there is only 2) know this. When I went in Fifi was busy, which I understood. The older woman said she had time, but she was working on someone. She had me sitting with foil on my hands for almost 30 minutes before she started taking it off. I felt so bad for the other woman who she was working on, but she was nice and understood I had to get back to work. The older woman started going back and forth between us and when it came time to file my nails, they were so crooked, I kept asking her to fix it but then she stopped and said Fifi would file my nails since she knows what I like. Again, I didnt ask for this, I asked her nicely to re-file my nails and SHE made the decision to pass it off to Fifi, who was already working on her next appt. I then waiting another 25 mins, when she finally asked Fifi to file my nails. Fifi immediately started yelling and the girl she was working on got up and said shed be back in 30 mins or so. Fifi stood up looked at me and yelled "I said I was busy, what you dont remember?". I was in complete shock. I couldnt believe she was yelling and I let her know it was uncalled for as I didnt ask for any special favors or even ask for her at all. She just kept repeating herself, yelling more and more at me. The poor woman next to me looked like she wanted to crawl under a rock. I got up and left with 3 crooked nails. Awful customer service, and its a shame cuz I really did like it there, but I will never go back.

Jiavani Haynes I went in and got a manicure, just wanted clear polish on top when done. After Maya got done with my nails, she took it upon herself to pull out a buffer and shine my nails, didn’t ask if I wanted it or anything. After she was done, she charged me $28 for a basic manicure with no polish. She states that the $20 was manicure and $8 was for the shine buffer. Unmmm excuse me but I did not ask for that service, would I have been wrong to not pay the extra $8 for this service that I did not ask for. Watch them, they will do things and you’ll think that they’re doing it as apart of the service and will charge you extra when done. People like this, I do not trust and will never return ! Luckily I didn’t walk out and not pay her anything since she wanted to be slick. Not only that but my daughter got her nails polished by Maya and Maya made 2 nails with glitter on them “nothing fancy” and charged an extra $2 without even asking me to do it. This is bad business and I was hella mad

Dulce zeledon I really didn’t like my nails she did a dip powder left me some bumps the quality of that job wasn’t that good. And specially for the price $60 for only manicure deep powder. The receptionist was very nice and friendly the place is nice and clean.

Marie Moreau Great clean place for nails. I like the old fashion regular colors but they also do gel. You should see some of the gorgeous creative unique styles they do. It is truly an art form.

c hernandez Mary is so incredibly talented!!! She has cut and styled my hair for years and always makes me look like a million bucks. She also gives the most amazing pumpkin extract facials. While the mask is setting she even massages my arms and hands. She always goes the extra mile and ensures that you go away feeling you have had an amazing spa day!

Lisa MT I go to get my brows threaded here. Mary - there are two Marys, Mary in the salon is excellent. The other Mary in the area where they do nails is very nice and does good nails but I would stick to the Mary in the salon area for threading and all salon services. She is very friendly and understands your needs quickly.

sarah Mendoza I got my nails done here and I was not happy with the outcome. I believe her name was Tracy. I tried to tell her multiple times my nail was crooked and she just ignored me. She used waaay too much glue to the point were my fingers stuck to hers and I have a bunch of glue under my nail. The tip of my finger was glued to the nail. It felt very rushed. I asked for some jewels and she didn’t place them nicely, they were kinda just thrown on quickly and not really centered or spaced out like I had asked. For $70+ tip I was expecting better than what I got.
