Ali I wish I read the reviews in advance . ************Stay away **************** We had a terrible experience at Irvine Spa and do not recommend it. Booking Issues & Miscommunication We called ahead and specifically requested a couples massage, but the staff misunderstood us due to a language barrier. They confirmed they offer massages, so we booked an oil massage, advertised as a Swedish massage on their website. Hygiene & Facility Issues Upon arrival, I was shocked by the lack of hygiene: No slippers—everyone walks barefoot, even in wet areas like bathrooms. No private changing rooms—everyone is nude in shared spaces, which wasn’t disclosed during booking. Their website is misleading and does not clearly state this. Terrible Massage & Poor Service We were placed in separate rooms, despite booking a couple’s massage. My massage was horrible—no technique, just excessive oil, and ignored requests for more pressure. Hot towels were placed on me without warning. Communication was impossible due to the masseuse’s language barrier. Also, I spent more time alone in the room, than getting massaged. She left multiple times to go get hot towels because they do not have them in the room, and it wasn’t a quick trip. At some point I thought she’d stopped to talk to a friend because she took so long. Unhelpful Management I voiced my concerns to the manager about the misleading website and bad massage, but she refused a refund, claiming the service was provided. Final Thoughts For $125, I got a subpar massage, didn’t use the facilities, and felt completely uncomfortable. If you’re expecting a standard spa experience, stay away. Do not be fooled by their website.

Candace Smith This place is AMAZING!!! I loved everything from the scrub massage to the quiet room to the slow cooked ox bone soup to the ice room. I recommend this for everyone and for any occasion. The staff are extremely nice too and just make you feel at peace and relaxed your whole time there. Can’t wait to return!

Isabelle Hwang Terrible service. 1. Nails broke after 2 days. They were charging me $16 to fix their mistake and the male worker was aggressive/didnt care. 2. On the phone before I called and drove over 20 min, they said theyd do it for free. 3. I showed them reference photos of a nude nail. They gave me a pink nail and said that photo was "photoshopped". 4. I asked nail lady to file down a few more fingers but she aggressively grabbed my hands and told me not to look. I wont be back! UPDATE: I have a THIRD nail that cracked the same exact way as the other two. It has to be their way of filing nails.

Jenny Helen is kind, professional, fast, and a perfectionist. I have thin acrylic nails with gel polish. Any request of mine, was no problem. The color selection is second to none. The salon vibe is clean and happy, with lots of smiles from customers and employees. You will not regret stepping into Pandora Nail Spa. A shout out to Lucy and her fine skills also~ she did an excellent dye job on my eyebrows.

Heather Cruz The upside about this place is that the services are so quick! The downside is the nail technician got visibly upset and stressed when their gel machine was making my nails bubble, and originally did not want to fix them. They were trying to tell me that the nails were bubbling from my fault, but in reality I think their gel polish was old or the light wasn’t working well. Also, I got a pedicure and they did not do a basic foot scrub.

lauryn carter i asked for a design on one of my nails (just a heart) and my tech flat out refused. not because she couldn’t, but because she didn’t want to take the time to do it. she was rude the entire time to me, and the woman who took care of me before she came in to work was rude as well. the set of plain gel nails were cut crooked, and painted poorly, with smudges on multiple of my nails.

Lea S This was my second time coming here. I showed a photo asking for the glazed look, she said okay and proceeded to use what seemed like eyeshadow glitter and put it on my nails with an eyeshadow brush. Ive been coming here for a few months and love the quality of their work. However, I wanted to leave a 4-star review because they are not accommodating to loyal clients who have scheduling conflicts. I booked my appointment this morning mistakenly for same day, when I meant to schedule for tomorrow (Tuesday). I immediately called and texted to let them know, but they told me if I didnt show up I would be charged for the service as a cancellation fee. Just a heads up for anyone -- make sure to be on top of your schedule! Otherwise, love their work.

Queta Merrill The new owners Ken & Ivy are amazing and have turned this salon into an upscale establishment. They have also upgraded their services and are by far the best nail salon that I have been to in the last 10 years. Henry is a sweetheart and absolutely amazing. He usually does my pedicures which always includes a massage. I met Henry in 2019 and kept coming back because his manicures and pedicures were impeccable. He decided to stay on when Ken & Ivy purchased the salon late last year. I wish I could include 10 stars but the maximum is 5. I highly recommend Beauty Retreat.

Sha Az Avoid if you want to keep your fingers. As beautiful as the work was. The nail techs don’t take off gel x properly - improper training/incompetent in gel x and removals and add more sets on top of old ones they don’t fully remove. Now after a few new sets my gel x is stuck to my nails/cuticle/finger and looks like fungal growth from it….nails are bleeding and breaking — but the gel x is still stuck on —will need to go to ER now. I paid and tipped you guys too much to be experiencing this. Will be filing a complaint with the state.

sea gulls I paid $60 for a basic mani and Pedi. Overall a good experience and good price especially in this day and age. They were professional, quick, and took walk inside. I also saw their technician licenses were posted by the reception desk.

A W If there is 0 star rating, I will do so. I was in hurry want to try our the nearby store. Very bad experience. My finger is still bleeding now. The gentleman did not communicate when we started. He just rush you to get color number. They do not practice standard sterilize. All the equipments are used and did not wash through like the regular nail store. Did not see each persons license display out with their cart. Dont go to this store. I dont want you have my experience there. I got gel color for my hand (the gel stick on my skin, and the previous color did not got clean up remain there), and a service like just wash feet clean toes color, they charge me 58+1(the extra 1 dollar for using credit card).

Mstaken Official Absolutely terrible customer service from Anthony . Two stars because the nails I ENDED UP with were rather pretty. Went in, was quoted 50 dollars for pink and white dip nails. 55 for coffin shape. I asked told him I wanted gradient nails. Natural pink and white. He points to a few swatches, a hot pink and white gradient one and a couple glitter gradient and says "Ombre nail, very beautiful." I said "Yes! But I dont like hot pink for winter. I want natural." He says "Okay, natural pink and white dip nails." I replied "Yes." He starts the process and later I look down and realize that he had already given me 5 french tips in coffin shape! Way too much white space and it was lumpy and gross. I quietly explained that I did not think he understood what I meant and would like to do something else. The response was ALARMING. He set down his tools, became angry and rude started shouting to his coworker Tammy "I TOLD HER FROM THE BEGINNING. NOW SHE DOESNT LIKE THEM. DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO. I TOLD HER FROM THE BEGINNING" in front of all the other customers. She came over and tapped his arm and said something sharply in another language before turning to me and apologizing and helping me come to a solution He ANGRILY and ROUGHLY DRILLED my hands to take off his shoddy work, while yelling that I should have said something earlier. He went far as to say I WASTED HIS TIME. A I was incredibly anxious and embarrassed, as other women were laughing at me being yelled at by the manicurist and his coworker sheepishly watching across the salon and trying desperately to fix it. Nice atmosphere, plenty of happy patrons but one very rude and disrespectful employee. Do not go to him.

eugenie zheng I really love getting my nails done at Zoe’s because most regular nail salons only do basic nail work, which often turns out rough, uneven, and not very refined. However, Zoe specializes in Japanese-style nails, and she builds a structured base every time. This not only helps my fragile nails grow healthier but also makes them stronger over time. The structured foundation makes the final look smooth, delicate, and aesthetically pleasing. I especially love getting creative and well-designed nail art. Lauren Rios I’ve been here three times and I’ve tried to like it each time, but this was the last time I’ll ever set foot in here. It’s in the Newport Bluffs so I expected it to be great service and have my nails look great. I have been getting my nails done since I was 15 and I’m very particular about what I want. If I’m going to spend $60+ and sit in a chair for over an hour I want to come out loving what I got. Today I went and asked on the phone prior to my appointment if they could do builder gel with dip on top. On the phone they told me yes and once I got there the woman I spoke with on the phone was telling me that can’t do it. Instead of asking me, she told me I was going to do gel and I hate the way gel looks on my nails. The application is often sloppy and it lifts on me so I do dip but my nails are weak so that’s why I wanted the builder. I was starting to feel uncomfortable and should’ve just left. The woman, Jessica I believe who did my nails was terrible. She was judging and laughing at me for my broken nail and did a horrible job. She took over an hour to make my nails look incredibly crooked and she made my skin completely raw to the point where I bled. Just look at my thumb nail in the photo. My nail does not look like a toe thumb and that’s what I walked out with. I was in so much pain I flinched and said that was hurting me and she filed my nails THREE times. My nails are so raw, they hurt so badly and I am so upset with how crappy my experience was with this place. Do not go here. These google reviews have to be fake…

Remal Kaur Overall great place! We did a walk in so we did have to wait a bit, around 30-40 minutes because it was Lunar New Year and they were short-staffed. But aside from that the nail shaping and polishing was great for us. As well as the service. They gave us waters and a red envelope :)

Evie I got Gel X done by Chloe and it’s the best set of Gel X nails I’ve had in a long time. She was sweet, friendly, and very professional. She took her time and made sure my nails were perfectly aligned, sized and shaped. She will definitely be my go to nail girl. I highly recommend Chloe. The staff was Courteous, the salon was clean and very relaxing. Loved it!

Amber Tilton My daughter and I came in for pedicures at 945am on a Monday (spring break). We had a great experience! The salon is really nice and the staff is friendly. Both of our technicians were wonderful. We did the Get Fresh (? Idk, the least expensive one!) pedi and it was perfect. I like the way they do the callous removal - its like a disposable file sticker. I do wish it was a little more rough but it did the job. Overall, I think well come back again! ❤️

This place has such a wide variety which allowed me to choose exactly the shade I had in mind for Fall. I got a manicure and pedicure with Laura. I loved the way she shaped my nails and took time with my service.

hannah breeding i came in last minute to get my nails done for our wedding, michelle was the person who did my nails. she was a kind, loving, sweet woman!! im so thankful i found this hidden gem, she was great to talk too, she was super gentle, i highly recommend her doing your nails. well definitely be coming back thanks to michelle!!

Caroline Fung Michelle did my gel X nails and she was great! She stayed past opening for me and still took her time. Each step of the way she asked me if I liked the shape or if there was anything I would like fixed. She created a comfortable environment for feedback. She reassured me that if anything happened I could come back to see her for no charge. I would skip the pedicure in the future though. It was decent, but seemed pricey.

Justice Ann Made an appointment 3 weeks ahead of time for a manicure and pedicure. On the day of appointment I had been taking an Uber from my resort and was going to be 10 minutes late. I called to let the owner know and she let me know that ten minutes meant I had to choose between a manicure or pedicure. I understand that I had said 9 am but I can’t believe 10 minutes would make enough of a difference I wouldn’t get what I had wanted. Ended up canceling my appointment all together because I was so disappointed in their overall lack of accommodation.

Archana Sheth I called Le Petit Salon on a whim as I had noticed this cute salon and looked up their services but still had questions. I was even more excited to visit as Kim, the owner patiently answered all of my questions. I have been getting nails done for years but never did anything fancy as I was apprehensive about the UV light and the feeling I get during the curing process. But with my luck I got an appt later the same day and walked into the dreamiest little salon ever. It’s like a dollhouse dream and was greeted immediately and then walked through the color selection process and ever so gently seated and started a mani and pedi. It was my first time doing the cat eye effect and I love it! A very fair price for the quality of the experience. I will no doubt be back when I am ready to treat myself again. Aside from the kindness of the ladies that worked on me: Mindy and Lia - Kim the owner is a gem and has a beautiful mission for her business and the overall nail salon culture. Cant wait to go back!
