Nancy Lee She was very sweet and nice. She gave me a 10% discount off for my first time there. The nails were a little too short for my comfort zone but they are super cute. Very clean and neat. I would go to her again but for sure would request for longer nails next time. Shes for sure one of the better nail techs Ive gone to. I recommend her!

She absolutely nailed everything, and the entire process was seamless. Claudia insisted on a calm and peaceful environment, which helped to calm my nerves on wedding day and truly made the day such a breeze. Claudia gave my helpful instructions and tips prior to the hair appointments so that my hair would be in optimal condition (I have very curly hair!). I could not have been happier with how my hair turned out, especially on my wedding day! Though Claudia is not advertised as a wedding hair stylist, she can truly do it all! Facial massage followed by a scalp massage and then a gentle blow dry. If you’re looking for a quick escape from a long day at work or hoping to get out for a spa day with the ladies this is a great spot. Hair is happy and skin is glowing :).

Rypley Feldman I’ve been going to see Jess for about a year now for acrylic overlay. I usually go with an image of what I like and from there she is able to collaborate with me and turn it into something I love. The main thing that sets Jess apart is that she is a true artist and has that artistic eye. She gets excited about doing something creative and different and she is just such a positive, fun energy to be around. She has amazed me over and over again with her creativity, artistry, professionalism and work ethic. I cannot recommend her enough and can say with 100 percent certainty that you would leave her salon disappointed.

Christa Waltz Getting older and over plucking has caused my eyebrows to be very thin and sporadic. My daughter-in-law gifted me with an appointment to see Jennie. She did my daughter’s brows and they look beautiful! I was very nervous going into my appointment, but after spending one minute with Jennie, i was instantly relaxed and excited! She spent a-lot of time explaining everything, listening and making me feel comfortable. She took a-lot of time measuring and taking my mature skin into account. When it was time for the procedure, i was completely comfortable and relaxed. I even slept through half of it! When i was finished, i looked in the mirror and cried. I had beautiful eyebrows! They were the perfect shade and length. I will post pictures after my touch up and it’s healed. I highly recommend anyone who wants cosmetic tattooing or even just thinking about it to come see Jennie. She is highly professional, patient, caring, and gentle.

I had wanted to get my brows done for quite some time but had been really hesitant and after doing a lot of research I’m so glad I finally decided to book an appointment with her. From the initial consultation to my touch up appointment Jennie far exceeded all my expectations. She took time mapping out my brows to figure out the best shape and also figuring the best color for my skin tone and hair color. She’s very personable and professional and made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire process. The studio is super clean and feels very welcoming. Christine Whitman The precision cut Rich does on my hair is by far the best Ive had in 20 years. My husband and I move frequently due to his career and after living in the area since 2014 and trying a multitude of salons, Rich nailed it. My hair is fine but there is a lot of it and to top it off, its quite curly, kinky, wavy and unruly. The salons / stylists I tried prior to finding Genesis did cuts that were so-so and I resigned myself to the fact that I would never receive a satisfactory cut and that I will forever wear my hair in a pony tail, a chignon or hidden under a hat. I occasionally speak in public and my biggest concern was never about my topic or my ability to convey my point but it was always about how dreadful my hair looked. Ive been going to Genesis for about 9 months... every 6 weeks and my confidence has skyrocketed. Its amazing what a fantastic cut can do.

Andrea Burgess When I first walked in, I immediately felt welcomed and greeted. They were very pleasant. Everybody there listened to what I wanted and took him into consideration that I had had problems in the past with other places they did exactly what I wanted, and I love the fact that they took their own twists and added things to make it even better my experience there was amazing. I will never go anywhere else. I would recommend them to everybody. I love the fact that they take their time with you and wanna make sure you have the best experience you can they do not just try to rush you through like a lot of places do they are very caring and compassionate to give you exactly what you want. Their prices are unbelievably amazing for the quality and work that they do, I can’t wait to try their other services there that they provide they do hair and pedicures eyebrows pretty much everything you can think of and as pleased as I am with my nails, I can’t wait to see what else they can do cause I guarantee it’s gonna be an amazing experience as well. If I could rate them higher than a five star I would. Anybody want the best experience of their life go to Skylab nails and spa you will not regret it. I will never go back to anybody else but them.

ann tommaney I came from a disastrous previous nail salon in Chico that did not warm me about how my nails were doing and went ahead and gave me acrylics that almost ruined my natural nails. I came to Skylab and the head guy recognized I had a serious issue with my nail health. He could not in good conscience do another acrylic fill, which would worsen my nail health. Instead, he cleaned up my nails and told me to let them breathe for awhile before I tried anything again. He didn’t even charge me for the clean up! I 100% recommend this salon; they understand exactly what you need and do what’s best for your nail health. Thank you!

Sharon Bagnato I had a great pedicure experience at SkyLab today. It was relaxing, and the technician had the perfect amount of pressure for the scrub massage and everything else. Some places Ive been to, they scrub entirely too hard, and it hurts, but not today! I described what I wanted, showed her the silver I wanted over the black, and she delivered. Definitely recommend!

Vero Alvarez This is my fourth set of nails I’ve gotten done here at Aroma’s and I love them! Thanks to my friend that recommended me this place back in July. Vina is the Best. She is friendly, sweet, and gets you in and out quickly and does amazing work. Every time I get a new set I always get compliments on my nails. Everyone there is great. Zachary Kramer Unfortunately not a great experience. The guy that did my nails, was so rough with the electric filer that he nicked my fingers in a couple places. Then after I left, I realized when he used the cuticle cutter on the side of my nails, he went way too deep and now I have sores on almost all my fingers..
