Radu Popovici Good haircut, and they got me in on a Sat evening, even when I didnt have an appointment. The hairdresser stayed over her regular hours to finish my hair, when all other places I tried that evening were closing early (in spite of their advertised hours).

She genuinely cares about her customers, and she is also very flexible and accommodating with her schedule. There’s usually some paid street parking out front, but if you go after 5:00pm or on Sundays then the street parking is free.

Victor Kwok As a San Francisco native who hates driving, I actually make an exception to drive all the way down to San Mateo for Roys service on a regular basis. Exceptions are made for exceptional cases and this is one such case. Roy has been taking very good care of me and the friends whom I referred. He studies your hair + head shape meticulously and work with you to do whats the best for your individual needs and situations. Especially now, with the pandemic, attention to details, hygiene in particular, is a must! Roy carefully disinfects his tools between customers and this really buys my confidence in him despite whats going on out there on the street.

Michael Strohman I’m in my mid 30s, I’ve lived in the bay area for 12 years, and over the years I’ve had my hair cut by many hair stylists. I’ve been going to Roy for the last 2-3 years, and he’s really the best. He’s very experienced, he has a very pleasant personality, and he has a great sense of style. He’ll know how to make you look your best and won’t try to sell you any hair products you don’t need. He takes great pride in his craft and it shows. He loves traveling and cycling if you’re looking to share your latest adventures. Or, if you’re in a quiet mood, he’ll give you space to just relax. I don’t write many reviews, but I highly recommend Roy.

Bridget Wylie This business is relatively new. The co-owners are super focused on detail. The studio is always clean, there is lots of space between the chairs. They play music but not too loud that you can’t carry on a conversation without yelling. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming. During the pandemic they are very organized. Following all the guidelines to a T. You should give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed.

I have been seeing her for about three years for hair color and she too is terrific. She is excellent at giving me the hair shade that is the most flattering to me AND that matches my level of commitment to repeat colorings. I cant recommend her enough too.

Delia Todd Great haircut at a reasonable price. Mens haircut is $20. The salon is nice and clean, and it is open on Sunday. Nancy is very polite and professional, and she pays great attention to detail. I was able to arrange an appointment via text message. I will definitely return for my next haircut.

Prices are modest and an excellent value. Ive had my hair cut exclusively by Nancy for 15 years! Now that she has her own Salon, I enjoy the complimentary tea and water she offers her customers on occasions when I am waiting a few minutes for the customer ahead of me. Her shop is bright and cheerful, clean and tidy. I wouldnt think of going anywhere else.

Rosita Lesmana I got In immediately when I came. The lady was quick, straightforward, and kind. she cut my hair very quickly and good result. Paid $35 for it, which is not too bad afterall compared to other salons who like to overcharge people for a simple trim, especially ladies.

My hair looks so natural and healthy—no damage at all, which was one of my biggest concerns. Michelle is incredible at what she does! She took the time to really listen to what I wanted. (it had been 4 years since my last professional cut) I specifically booked with Michele since she was mentioned by others for her talent with wavy/curly hair. Upon arrival Michele was very nice and welcoming. We discussed lightly what I wanted done before washing my hair. Once I was back in the chair she truly listened to what I wanted. (I have super long fine hair that is curly, wavy and straight in some spots) She gave me tons of advice and pointers which I truly appreciated since Im trying to embrace my natural hair and stop heat styling. I was very satisfied with the end result. My hair feels so much healthier. I will definitely be coming back!

The Studio has very strict COVID-19 protocols: - one customer at a time - they sanitize absolutely everything between clients including chairs, equipment, all brushes and clips - Kiera wore double masks the entire time, added face shield while washing hair - Kiera wore gloves the entire time - temperate check upon arrival - no waiting room - Kiera regularly gets tested for COVID-19 as a precaution I was very impressed and felt super safe during my appointment. MYH Paola is the most incredible colorist and stylist I have ever had. I have been going to Paola for 4 years - I am asian and getting the most perfect blonde highlights and color is NOT easy!! Paola perfected my highlights and color within 2 visits. I get stopped everywhere I go asking "who does my hair?!!" Not only does Paola make one feel so beautiful with a modern, of the moment look that is personalized to ones hair type, but she is SO fast! My prior colorists/stylists would take a total of 5 hours to do highlights, color, cut and style. And Id have to pay TWO people and if I was only doing color/highlights, Id have to walk out of the fancy salon with wet hair or style myslef. Paola is so talented, she does it all - color, highlights, cut and style and Im out of her chair in 2 hours! Paolas rates are so fair. She tries to keep the most flexible schedule - it is always client first. My husband, my two teenage sons, my Mom and probably 15 friends that I have referred now go to Paola! We love Paola and highly recommend her!!!

I had so much anxiety and went at my hair one day. It was so embarrassing. Paola worked her magic and made me feel beautiful again. It was a hard lesson to be learned! Never ever cut your own hair!
