tiger tastic Excellent experience. Miguel is super sweet, gentle, and friendly. He listens to what you want and executes to perfection. He is quick, affordable, and available by appointment. Just call and receive the present of his presense. Honestly, Ive been to hair dressers all around the world who sometimes charge a heck of a lot more, but his delivery is the best, bar none.

M M Ive been to this salon a few times before and had fine service, but I made an appointment on 4/22 at 4:30pm and my card was charged. When I went to my appointment the studio was closed. I reached out and asked if I could be refunded the amount I was already charged via phone and text but they never responded to my request. Very disappointing to have my card charged and receive no service.

Venus A I have been a client for three years with Elizabeth. I had to find a new hairstylist after my old one retired. I spent a whole year getting my hair butchered and regrowing it trying to find someone who understood what my haircut needed. I found Elizabeth and she listened to me and worked with me to get the proper cut. She was very patient and after a few sessions, she created (and continues to) the perfect haircut for me. I get so many compliments on my hair and really appreciate her effort on giving me by best look. Thank you!

Diane Seifi This was my first visit and my last. I asked for a chin length bob, long layers and side tapered bangs. Bobs are probably the most common haircut, having been around for decades. I first started getting a bob haircut with side tapered bangs in Dallas, TX years ago and was always very happy with my cut. Since moving to the Bay area 12 years ago, I have used 8 different stylists at various salons and not one (1) of them has been able to give me a bob haircut with side tapered bangs. Every haircut has left me disappointed and frustrated. Everyone I know has the same bad experience with stylists in the bay area; no one seems to have any creativity or skill with regards to cutting hair. I believe the only haircut the stylists in the bay area have the ability to give is a blunt cut, that looks horrible on anyone who is older than 20 with stick straight hair. I gave myself a better blunt cut during the pandemic than I got at Elizabeth H.

Nadia Prioleau I’ve been coming to Elizabeth H since it opened in 2008 and getting my hair done by Elizabeth since before her salon opened. She does a great job with color (I’m a blonde) and wouldn’t trust anyone else to do my highlights. I have a busy work schedule and she’s always willing to accommodate and even comes in on her day off to do my hair. 5-star salon and staff, definitely recommend!

Laverne Taylor Melissa is an amazing hair beautician. Her shop is cozy and her conversation is great. She listens to your hair needs and concerns.

Kayi Esse This was my first time with Melissa and I fell instantly in love! I went for a sew in with minimal leave out. Melissa worked so fast. I got a shampoo and blowout with it. This is the BEST service and BEST price I’ve EVER gotten in all of the Bay Area when it comes to sew ins. When I walked in, my sister was like, “oh wow that looks just like your hair.” Melissa washed my bundles too and dried them under the dryer before installing them. In addition to that this, she is an absolute angel! We had a time talking and having fun. The whole service took like 2 hours. I’ve never had someone worked so fast on my sew in before. I LOVED my hair so much I walked out feeling like a celebrity. You can tell Melissa really LOVES what she does and she is just an all around incredible human being who is gorgeous inside out. I will not be going anywhere else in the Bay Area to get my sew ins done and you shouldn’t either. Come to Melissa for the best hair service and treatment in all of the Bay Area! ☺️

Aimee Fields-Reed I got a silk press for the first time in 8 years. Crystal was fantastic! I was in the salon chair within 3 min. of my appointment time. She did an amazing job and my hair feels so so healthy and clean. I love it! My only one thing is that it ended up notably more expensive than I anticipated. No points off though because after assessing my hair and situation, recommendations were made to me. I didnt ask how much each thing would cost, and I consented to everything done. I dont treat myself to things often, and I know I needed to get my hair into a healthier place. Worth it. I plan to come back with my kiddo for her first salon experience!

Kara Extremely overpriced! Was charged $175 for a simple flat iron and a trim. Very standard and mediocre, nothing special.

Constance Slider Pierre Let me just share with you my amazing experience at Paparazzi Beauty Bar and with @iamcrystalrenee. I bought my first (and only) custom unit circa 2018 and it was beautiful. I loved her (my custom unit) and I felt so pretty. Since then I have toggled between braids and my custom and really gotten my moneys worth! I mean folks its been 7 years! I mean I really wore her and put her to the test. I finally decided it might be time to get her a total tune up and sent her in to @iamcrystalrennee who brought her back to life with a shampoo, condition and styling. I mean she looks brand new and I feel brand new wearing her. This is an investment well worth the money. I am anxiously awaiting my new unit but in the meantime...I look fly! And if you dont know, Crystal is a total sweetheart. She is kind, she is smart and she is talented beyond measure.

araceli villarreal My daughter’s I got our hair done today. Denise did an excellent job on all of our hair. We all love our new looks. Denise made sure my highlights were perfect I had previously dyed my hair blue black and the tips bottom of my hair still have that color on them, because of this the color was off, but Denise made sure the bottom color match with the top. It took some time but she got it done perfectly. I appreciate how patient she was with me and the advice she gave me regarding the blue black color that was still in my hair the color she picked matches perfectly with m skin tone and blended perfectly with my grey hair. The person who seems to be in charge just kept asking what I want, in an extremely unpleasant way. When he finally opened the door he simply told me he doesnt do sciser work. BARBER? Please! I would suggest to change the banners to something more appropriate.

This was a great experience deep condition treatment,Hot oil etc all done with great care. This is my 2nd time coming to this shop and i have no complaints. Alesia Jackson Submitted and inquiry last year however do to an personal emergency i was not able to make it to my scheduled appointment. So i tried to reschedule the person who contacted me refused to give name but was trying to have me explain to him why i couldn’t make it. Then was very unprofessional to say i could’ve contacted them and because i didn’t he refuse to reschedule. So i filed a complaint via Facebook where now this person is declining service to me because of that read the message attached. This is highly unprofessional and wanting to conduct business in OAKLAND with an attitude like this lol good luck many businesses with poor management/communication skills don’t last long here.

sal a BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. I asked for a simply trim with scissors. A few inches off is all I’m asking for. She kept telling me ok and started to prep my hair. As she started to cut my hair she took the trimmer and started using it to cut my hair. I told her before I sat down that all I wanted was a scissors trim and she told me ok. I asked the rest of the ladies for help and they acted like they didn’t understand English. If you aren’t from Vietnam I wouldn’t come here.

RICE KING My usual barber was not in town so I went to this place. When I got there there were no one waiting to get a haircut and there were two barbers stuffing there face. I said hello and they told me to have a seat , waited five minutes and noting happens. So I left , at least they can do is tell me how long it would be.Seems like the barbers here are really stuck up. You people need to get a class in customer survive.

One day I did over two years ago and Ive been coming here every sense .Always clean and never a long wait Lucy is very nice even when shes not at work I ran into her on several occasions outside the beauty salon I am a young black male and its hard to find a shop were you dont have to wait a long time to get a hair cut.
