Jacqueline Del Castillo Janice has been excellent since the very first text I sent her. She responded quickly and had an extensive conversation about my preferences and needs-- I could tell she really cared about the health of my hair, as well as focusing on what I wanted. Ive had a few Brazilian Blow Outs and have had a great experience. They last me a few months and pricing is very fair. Lori Esler I love janice! She always listens to me and works with me and gets my hair to exactly the way I want it to be- every! Single! Time! She is a good honest woman, she explains everything completely so that I dont freak out. And shes right every time! I have a busy schedule she has a busy schedule- but she always works it out to fit me in whenever she can! I love her and she is the best Ive been going to her for about 4 years.

Annette Bingham Ive been coming to Janice for my color, Keratin blowouts, trims, and beautiful tape-ins for a few months now. I have not been disappointed with any service of her whatsoever! So much so, that now my teen is coming to her for Keratin, trims, and color also (and you know how hard teens are to please). My teen is so happy! Weve found our new happy hair place with Janice! Shes got what we need, and is the sweetest person. My husband has come to her also. Very much would recommend her for the whole family, she is experienced and still stays updated on the latest trends.

Sairy Hawley I have been going to get my Brazilian blowout treatment with Janice for over a year now. I absolutely love her! My hair is so smooth after I see her!! The treatment lasts longer than anywhere else I’ve ever gone to. She recently also started doing my highlights along with color correcting another stylists wrongdoing. She always goes above and beyond! She is also the best in accommodating my busy schedule! Thx Janice !

Kat Starzhinskaya Horrible customer service. Booked my appointment for 10am with Clarissa and ended up being left to wait for over 30 minutes. Not only did she take her sweet time talking with the clients around she then decided to do another haircut before she even attempted to service me. Ended up leaving as I will not be wasting my time or money on someone with no regards to my time or other appointments I may have during the day. Was extremely disappointed with the lack of respect for their clients time when we’re spending a pretty penny on their services.

EMC Colmar The review is overdue. I don’t mind driving 45 mins to this Salon because I know I’ll be satisfied with the results. Extremely easy to book an appointment, they are pretty good at sending reminders; However if you cannot make it make sure to cancel on time. I understand why this is necessary as there’s is a waiting list The staff is very attentive. In my opinion the owner has greatly selected great professionals they all have great knowledge and experience The shampoo experience was delightful, the salon has great music, and extremely sanitary , love the vibe and all the plants. Prices are reasonable, i’m ok paying more to have it done properly and not ruin my hair in some cases you get what you paid for and this was well worth it. Paulina Rivera Unfortunately, she’s not currently taking any new clients, but Mariely is extraordinary. She is amazing at what she does. You can tell in her work just how passionate she is about it. She is always there to listen to what you want, but will also be honest about your hair goals. She walks you through the process and your happiness is her priority. She will make sure you absolutely love your hair. From taking a break for about 5 years, to blonde, and now red, she has exceeded all my expectations. I get so many compliments on my hair everywhere I go. Let’s not forget the studio. The vibes are immaculate, it’s peaceful, beautiful, and the perfect ‘me time’ place. She designed it all so thoughtfully, you will love it. The whole trim studio team is awesome. You will not regret booking with them.

The salon she works out of is nice has a lot of space and does offer different things. Donna cuts and colors hair. Love what she does for my hair which is fine but a lot. Tell her Karyn send you.

Phyllis Wood The clients are required to wear masks but some of the hair stylists wear only face shields or walk around with no mask on. My hair stylist Marie follows all the regulations but I don’t feel safe in the facility. Even the salon owner has her mask below her nose!

Antwoine Taylor I’ve been going to different barber shops, and a lot of them made me feel uncomfortable, and unwelcome. I decided to try a salon for the first time for my beard. I’m glad I decided to come to this salon! The stylist I had was very nice, he paid attention to detail, and made sure I was happy with the results of my beard trim. I definitely will be back soon! Deeps Shirsath- Jamdade We went there to get haircuts for my husband and 11 year old son. I HAVE TO MENTION THIS - Their prices start $15, which I don’t think anywhere else in Riverside. Both haircuts were done in about 15 minutes, the stylist asked the details of how we wanted it and was thorough. The place wasn’t crowded but we called ahead for appointment just in case. They also do women’s haircuts, makeups, styles and henna as well, the guy said.

Maddy Amaral Shelley is the best! She is a materful mixer of colors. Always matches exactly what I want and cares about the integrity of my hair. Its a drive for me but dont mind doing it for this lady!!!

Patti Reynolds Spencer does a wonder job cutting & coloring my hair. I trust him to give me the professional look I need for work that can also be turned casual for off time. I recommend this salon!

Caleb Van Setten This salon has definitely had major improvements in the last year and a half. The owner has done a major cleanup of the employees and really has some winners in there now. The salon itself has had a major refreshment of the paint, booths, and light fixtures. When you go in, ask for Tim; extremely professional, well dressed, and knows his stuff big time. I have a really difficult hair growth pattern where my sides grow forward and my top grows straight out. He had no problem whipping it into shape. I was a little skeptical going to this salon at first after reading the reviews, but a friend recommended it so I risked it. I will not be going elsewhere! The experience was THAT good.

Mia Young I made an appointment with Jasmin on instagram for 5:30p and put down a $25 deposit to hold my spot. Since I work in Rancho Cucamonga, I was going straight there after work because I wanted the soonest available appointment and this was my first time going to see her. I had never been in the area before but I arrived at 5:30 where I was told by Jasmin that it would only be a couple minutes. However, I see a client in her chair with her hair still wet and she was in the process of cutting. I wasn’t told much else but I thought it wouldn’t take long since that was what I was told. I wait 40 minutes and she is only halfway done with blow drying the clients hair. Since it was already 6:15 I told her I needed to go as that was not my only errand that night. I received nothing but her asking if I wanted to reschedule to which I declined. It was very upsetting and frustrating as I had already made a financial commitment (a deposit I did not get back) and my time was wasted from the hour commute to get to the salon and the 40 minutes I waited and received no service. The lack of professionalism and communication was the biggest problem. I thought Jasmin posted beautiful work on social media but I could not commit to a stylist that did not tell me she would be over 15 minutes late to my service and offer to make the situation right. Very disappointed in Jasmin and the salon, I hope others have a better experience.

Italia Bautista Lavish Beauty Suite is a 5/5 experience, friendly hair stylists, great atmosphere. If its possible to rate it 6/5, I would because of April. My experiences with her were amazing, not just a great stylist, but overall as a person. I came in looking for a cut and coloring job and I left being able to recognize the person in the mirror and feeling good about myself. I trust April with my hair 100% and she takes the time to get to know you and your vision for your hair and executes it perfectly each time!

Jennifer Henry I loved my haircut and balayage with Samantha today. Booking and consult was easy and she was extremely clear with her communication. I also really appreciated her moving my appointment to an earlier time because I forgot I had dinner plans and hour away. I colored my hair black 9 months ago and she was able to get me to a caramel no problem! Shes also super sweet and really understood what look I was going for.

Elysa Martineau Samantha was absolutely amazing! She was extremely thorough during the consultation, making sure that she was giving me what I wanted but also something I was confident in styling by myself with my busy lifestyle. She was efficient and accommodating, ensuring I was comfortable during the whole appointment. She also gave plenty of maintenance and styling tips. Highly recommend!!

Studio B Samantha was amazing! My hair was too blonde and chunky. I am a low maintenance client. I do not want to be in the chair every six weeks. Samantha listened to all of my thoughts, had great ideas, and 100% delivered. I loved that she talked me through my hair habits, routines and desires. Worth every penny.

Kayla Arredondo I tried their walk-in service. Its limited for usually dry bar styling. Most extra services are obviously by appointment only. My immediate service was not available because of time constraints and events leading me there. I think they should consider specialized immediate services. I Unfortunately walked out embarrassed.

Tyler I would highly recommend NOT to COME HERE!! They are rude when you say you dont like the outcome of your hair. I spent over $300 for my wifes hair, and she did not like it. She showed the picture to the stylist of what color she wanted. She then said yes I can get it that color. After the hair was done, my wife did not like the color. Then the stylist said well that photo was photoshoped. We contacted the owner Ashley and she was rude and refused to help the next day to fix her hair. My wifes hair is extremely dry was left patchy with color. Left with dark roots when she didnt want dark roots. Just an all around bad service. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING ELSEWHERE. They stylist name was Kayla.

theresa calhoun I called salon on and asked for a suggestion as to which stylist can cut my hair and they gave Adriana and I’m glad they did’ My hair was over layered and butchered she took her time and fixed and blended each section at a time and the color and cut is so beautiful I have the sassy bob I wanted. I highly recommend Adrianna , she is highly skilled

I cant believe theyve been here all my life, just a few minutes from my house but I never thought of checking them out until now that Ive been searching for a new salon. I read people who went to my college came here and had some great things to say about it, and I found that they were right. Ill be coming here from now on! The stylist Leticia really took her time cutting my hair and getting it to the perfect shape, every layer, professional and focused but pleasantly chatty and friendly. My hair looks beautiful, she gave me exactly what I asked for when I showed her my reference pics. Shes amazing! I give this place 123456789+ stars, A+!!!! I LOVE my hair, and even my family members are saying this is the best haircut I have ever gotten. I couldnt agree more, Im so happy. So talented, kind, caring and they know what theyre doing! Priscilla Vasquez Megan is the only person I trust with my hair. I went to various salons for a while, but I couldnt find a stylist I liked so I did my hair myself for years. Then someone recommended Megan and I have been with her for almost six years now! She always fully executes my hair suggestions I bring her, takes care of my hair and keeps and healthy, and is a great conversationalist as well. I cant imagine having anyone do my hair ever again!

N Owner gave me a Ouidad curly cut and completely ruined my hair. I had really long hair and came in for a wolf cut. I showed him reference photos and told him what I wanted. He didn’t do anything I asked for and didn’t even give me layers. I left with shoulder length, blunt hair with no layers and ugly bangs. I had to get 4 haircuts to fix his mistakes and now I don’t trust hairstylists. If you have curly hair, don’t come here! This place deserves zero stars!

Caitlin C I just got my hair done by Andrea. Dark blue and teal ombre. She did an absolutely amazing job! Colors are beautiful and vibrant. Very long process, but well worth the money! The staff was super nice and funny. I will definately be back!!!

She’s the only stylist I’ve gone back to, she truly understands the struggle I have w my thin hair and every time she dyes my hair she is so gentle with it. George Boyd Dominique was great with my daughters hair. She showed us what to do for after care and made sure my daughter was comfortable throughout. Her pricing was fair and accurate for the amount of the time it took. The shop is very clean and classy. Plenty of places to sit while waiting. The other hair dressers are nice and professional. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good shop that knows their stuff.

Jordan Jackson Very nice stylist but they say they can do a style come to find out they can’t. My hair didn’t even last a day. When you mold something it’s suppose to stay. Also from the press out my hair is damaged and permanently straight on one side. It won’t convert back. I also called the owner, he said he would talk to her about about giving me a refund because it makes the business looks bad & I haven’t got a call from the stylist or the owner not even an apology. Very unprofessional. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Brittney Bray Rozella made is feel right at home.. my daughter has natural hair and she new exactly how to handle it.. Rozella was on time and very attentive to my daughters need!! Shes a great stylist with a great personality!! We will be back!!

Gabriela Mendoza (Edit: I did leave something out accidentally but after we added my hair color and washed it my hair was still damp when she decided to brush my hair extremely rough and hair was coming out of my highlights left and right because it was freshly bleached and I thought it was common knowledge but when hair is bleached it becomes more elastic and when hair is wet it also becomes elastic and putting those two together made my hair very brittle and as a hair stylist I thought she would know better but I guess not?? And when she was done brushing my hair there was a good Chunk of purple hair on the actual brush it looked like I was balding and losing hair. Now I have spilt ends about every where from that and a bunch of fly away hairs and my hair is extremely damaged..)The customer service was great they were extremely nice there are just a few things I did have a problem with first was just the pricing when I had messaged them about the price was about 225 but I paid well over 400 which was like why even give me that starting price if the actual price was gonna be no where near it so that sucked cause now my parents how to pay a good 200 more for something honestly I could’ve went somewhere else for the original price of 225 but they kept that information from me until the end my second problem was just the hair cut I asked for some side bangs cuz I had really been wanting them for a while, Kylie was working with me she was extremely nice but I just didn’t like the side bangs at all as you can see in the first picture it’s very much just pretty straight and looked like a bowl cut when my hair was tied back and she added way too much hair for the side bangs/ curtain bangs she said that since my hair was freshly cut but I waited a good 5 days to see if anything would look good I tried styling it as best i could but at last nothing worked. luckily I watched a simple video on how to do it and ended up just fixing it myself as you can see in the second to last picture so it wouldn’t be so flat now I’m just waiting for it to grow back.. my last problem was the actual color of my hair honestly not that big of problem but I asked for this deeper purple I sent the second photo as a reference to Eugene and they gave me this magenta/violet looking color which I wasn’t a fan of because I didn’t like standing out so much and my hair was like neon which don’t get my wrong it’s such a cute color and I got a lot of compliments on it, it just wasn’t for me but I grew to like it just not what I asked for I did try to reach out to Kylie on instagram for a few questions but never got a text back..but yea overall the actual highlights were amazing I loved them so much Kylie did an amazing job it’s just these things I did have a problem with thank you

Lioudmila Voronova I booked an appointment online via a text message from the salon. I told they honestly that I didnt know any hairstylists and I just wanted a wash and a short haircut and how much it would cost. They said it would be around $45. I said yes. Cynthia texted me right away, setting up a time and asking me to send her a $25 deposit. I did and arrived on time. Cyn was working on another client. So she kept running back and forth between that client and me. I had to call her twice to get her attention. She was very upset that a 74 year old client was demanding attention for her money. She ended up giving me a haircut that was completely different from what I wanted and charged $90 for the job. Keep in mind that a wash and a short haircut is $90 at this salon!!! I didnt ask for anything else! And I cant describe the details here. This was December 19th, the days before Christmas. This young woman Cyn has a difficult job and apparently does not get along well with customers. Despite her rude behavior in front of Eugene, I gave her $90 because I am a Christian and I felt sorry for this liar. She accepted my alms, not realizing that God will repay her according to her deeds. But I do not recommend this salon to anyone!

Kelly Moore You guys. If you need your hair cut, colored, pizazzed, changed, done up, etc., Luxe and Local is the place you want to go. I have had my hair done by 4 of the artists here and am always left feeling pampered and glamorous. They use the Oribe hair care line of hair products and I am the ONLY person I know who can say that during and after pregnancy my hair was growing instead of falling out. These friends know their craft and will not steer you wrong. Come in, sit back, and enjoy the luxe experience. I know I do.

Em-Em O First time at Luxe and Local and I love my hair! Thanks to Eugene…he is amazing. He did exactly what I asked for and I’m so glad I found him. I will definitely be referring him and his salon to friends and family. My niece is already going to be making an appointment!

Ashleigh George God awful experience I left there in tears. I sat in Melissa’s chair for 20 minutes while she ran her fingers through my hair and told me that she refused to do what I wanted. Didn’t offer any suggestions to do anything else. I wanted highlights and a hair cut. Even refused to do the hair cut and when I asked her if she wanted me to leave she asked me to leave her salon. It made me feel less than and I’ve never felt that way by someone. She belittled me and laughed in my face. I’ve never felt so much disgust by someone that I don’t even know. I don’t know anyone that would treat someone the way she treated me. I will not be back. She needs to be trained on how to treat human beings. People don’t go around tearing down other people and call that customer service. Certainly my hair was damaged it had a perm to it and some dye but she could at least offer to cut it. Didn’t even get that option.
