Nicole Haglund My first time with Jessica and she is my new go nail salon. I got a ombré pedicure, acrylic full set w/ chrome & glitter and my eyebrows waxed. She has amazing customer service, but it’s more than that. Her whole vibe is sincere & caring, and she made it super fun. I had a blast & I felt taken care of in every way. She has online scheduling so all you have to do is click on her website and pick a date and time. When you walk in she has everything set up for you to check in & she welcomes you at the door with a smile and a beverage. She is so accommodating and she made sure everyone was taken care of and given top notch service. My nails turned out amazing, pictures attached… and I will be going back for a fill regularly! Best nail experience I have ever had! She also convinced me to get my eyebrows waxed and she was right. She took one look at me and said she can make my eyebrows look amazing && she did… best eyebrows shaping I’ve ever had!

Amanda Glashan I went in for a full set on Friday morning. I called ahead and she was able to get me in right now she said. I showed up in 8 minutes and she was glueing in the acrylics of a gal I sat next to - basically the first step. Even though I was a little irritated by that she still got me in and out quickly. However i am quite disappointed by the way she didn’t even clean up my nails/cuticles and such. I know it’s just going to get an acrylic glued to the top but a large part of the nails is to have my cuticles tended to and under my nails trimmed up. I struggle with the cuticles at home and I look forward to this most. I am comparing this to the nails I got last summer (the same ombré style basically) but last summer my cuticles were actually tended to which made the nails look and feel so much better. Skipping the cuticles also wasted a lot of actual nail to paint so these already look grown out and ready to take off…. After two days the nails look the same as the type I’d glue on from the dollar store :/

C C Jessica is amazing. I had been trying to find someone local for a few years and I’ve tried many places. None compare to Jessica. I found Jessica about 6 months ago and she is the best. She’s knowledgeable about current trends, styles, shapes, and products. She is also very creative and can do all the nail designs you find on Pinterest. I’m so glad she opened her own shop. It’s clean, cozy, has new massage pedicure chairs, and she has ALL the colors. Jessica is unique because she cares about the customers experience and wants every customer to leave happy.

Hannah Epps Jessica is amazing! The reviews are accurate. She is not only fast, but she is extremely skilled at what she does. I got an acrylic nail fill and my bestie got dip powder/gel mani. She did both of us in less than an hour, which was so awesome. If you need nails done in Placerville, I highly recommend Jessica’s Nails.

I’ve been going for a year or two, and just this week, to their new location which is a beautiful spot, and as always, am very pleased and impressed. Mikey did my nails (a fill and new set of acrylic nails). Last visit, I had nails done and a pedicure- both fabulous. I highly recommend them. (And if you’re on your way to or from Apple Hill - stop in and get “pampered”!)

Bailey Churray I got my toes done and my eyebrows waxed. Annie did my toes and did a lovely job! Her massages were amazing. Another lady did my eyebrows and made sure they were painless and got every last out of place hair!

Hannah Epps I got a nice set done here, but it was pretty expensive for being so basic. The staff was lovely, but my basic acrylic set was over $75. It’s definitely a nice place to go if you have the extra dollars!

Cathy Ortolano I have had acrylic nails most of my life. I always struggle to find a great place but when I do, I keep them for 10+ years or more. I recently moved back to California and discovered angel nails. They have not disappointed and I am happy With the expertise. Don’t skip this place pop in and have a wonderful experience. Wendy La Puma I always get my acrylic nails done here. They do an excellent job I have no complaints. They have an excellent choice of gel colors which they do charge a little extra for but its worth it to get the lasting color, and if you want something like cat eye nails, which requires the use of magnets to get the effect it crosses a little bit more than the gel nails its still worth it. They also do excellent pedicures and they give you multiple options to choose from based on the amount of massage you want for those as well. I would recommend Angel Nails and Spa to anyone looking for a reasonable price place to go. They are also very nice to their customers.

Kristine Prahser Price point was good, but you get what you pay for... I went in for a manicure and had builder gel on my nails before, they filed off the old color, but kept the builder gel on my natural nail. I chose a really dark maroon color (it looked almost black on the "sample"), and I had asked for an almond shape and this is how they turned out. Not pleased at all, and will be getting them fixed at another salon. However, my sister that was with me had a very pleasant experience and her nails turned out great.

I absolutely loveeee coming here, it’s like a piece of home. Kid friendly, relaxing, and always accommodating. Angie always helps me figure out new patterns and color combos; she’s so patient with my indecision! I loveee coming here and honestly don’t feel comfortable going anywhere else. 10/10 always recommend!

Sandy Long I have been going to Golden Nails since they first opened and have always had the best service for anything I needed. Nail extensions, pedicures, nail designs, etc. All of the technicians are wonderful, especially Nicki. Sidney Orr Got my nails done today and they were absolutely atrocious. Not impressed. Not one nails looks good. All of them are crooked and uneven. They were so bad that after the white powder was done he had to paint over it with white paint. You can can also see my old acrylic under the powders. Even after that they were awful. My nails look like a third grade art project.

Nevaeh D Asked for almost shaped acrylic set ($60) The shape was good and stylist was fast and there was a clean atmosphere however I was disappointed with how it turned out. The lines on the tips are a bit shaky which is no big deal i understand that, but there are some bubbles and uneven ness. On my ring finger I asked for the letter D and he confirmed that and then painted glitter instead of a D. Lastly one of my pinky nails he didn’t cure all the way so a day later the gel is already peeling

Zaria Rocchild Just yesterday I went to get a fill with French tips after having my nails done in Folsom a month ago. I got my nails done here about a year and a half ago with a very suboptimal experience but I figured I’d give it another try because my mother in law always raves about this place. I was disappointed yet again. Not only does this establishment have very poor hygiene but their nail practices are very poor too. When I came a year and a half ago I got a pedicure and because their equipment was so dirty it gave me blisters on my toes that were filled with puss. After having gone again yesterday I’m afraid I already see the same thing happening to my nails. They use dirty equipment on your cuticles so it will cause an infection no doubt. They told me two different prices for a fill with French tips and I ended paying the more expensive price plus a tip because at least my tech was personable and finished my nails even 15 minutes after closing. $60 for this including tip. She did okay but not good because I can still see the line under the gel from where my acrylic grew out and my new nail starts. You can see though that one of my cuticles is already inflamed and tender to the touch.

Bella Wilkey My grandma and I have been going to Livie together to get pedicures for about three years now, but we’ll never go again. They used acrylic to “fix” two of my toes that didn’t need to be fixed. They used the wrong color. Demolished my cuticles on my toes to where they’re red and bleeding. Did two coats of polish on some of my toes and not on the others. Then charged me $60.

Kim Henderson all i ask is pink and white . almond shape each time they act like they never did them before and have no clue what color to use , can’t find the products. this thick nasty mess cost me $70 and took 3 hours! they charge you a different price for a fill! they are so thick and fat ! not shaped almond at all. will never go back !

Debbie Como The man in there is not friendly at all at all. He did a horrible job on my nails. Im only one week out. Yes you will have some growth on your nails. I have a lot of space between the nail and my cuticle. He just did not do a good job. They are not very friendly people and they give you a cheap service. A real quick hot stone. Ive been to nail places. When they do the nail your nails. You get a hand massage. They dont do the hot wax the stones. They give you a real quick rub on your leg and youre done. Not a very good job at all on top of not very good bedside manner from either one of them, the man or the woman. I will not be going back. I guess you pay cheap to get cheap

Bailey Churray I always love going to MC Nails, they are decently priced and the customer service is wonderful! Lisa is a very hard worker and she gets my ingrown toenails out in a jiffy! They are always so nice and do a very good job with pedicures and manicures! I recommend going to them to get your next Mani pedi! Make sure to bring cash for their cash discount!

Jessica Maranville Was my first time here me and my daughter got our nails done we both had pictures of what we wanted and the guy did just that an both of nails turned out great. And the price wasnt bad either Ill definitely be going back and would recommend.

Michelle Cooper I went to this salon this afternoon, to get a pedicure. I was in a rush, so I elected to forgo the massage. From the moment I was seated, the technician was rude. I tried the normal pleasantries, to no avail, and based on the conversation I had overheard, the issue was not a language barrier. In addition to the rudeness, she should be ashamed of the service she provided. My toenails are a mess. They arent even, buffed or filed. For the life of me, I couldnt figure out what the problem was, until it came time to pay. The service was $22. I was willing to pay the entire $22, even though (at my request) only half of the service was provided. I gave her two $20s, and when she returned my change, she watched as I put the remaining $18 in my wallet. She then arrogantly told me that I was no longer welcome in the salon. She said "we only make money off tips and if you arent going to tip, you arent welcome." She continued to say that Ive been in there several times and didnt tip - news flash: Ive only been there once, and it was pre-pandemic. I absolutely hate publicly denouncing a small local business, but I feel a responsibility to the community to encourage taking their business to worthy salons. Is it even legal to refuse service to someone because they might not leave a tip? If nothing else, its ghastly business practice.

Angela Berg I came here for my birthday nails and got the worst nail job ever. All my nails were slanted and short I asked for long. They use old nail polish that smeared and cracked when it dried. They didn’t file them long enough or even. She put a design which ruined the look I was going for. I was very disappointed.

Lana Hutchison Clean and airy. No chemical smells because huge front area has no door. Sugar scrub, hot stone leg massage and hot towels. $25 for pedicure which is the going price. They use a plastic bag inside each tub so always clean and no catching fungals. I only had to wait 2 minutes for my appointment time.

Daniela Castellanos Ive never liked going here but recently was taken here by a friend for my birthday. I had an bad experience because the guy who was doing my nails became mad when I mentioned one of my nails looked slanted because of the way he had cut them. He became angry and basically ignored me. Anyway, I ended up walking out of there with slanted looking nails and I had to fix them on my own at home, not to mention the acrylic nails broke off within a week and a half. Do not recommend this place at all!
