However this office is so nice and the staff is so friendly that it doesnt even feel like visiting the dentist. The office is very clean and they play great music to distract from the normal sounds of the dentist! This was my first visit and it was nothing short of great! RICK R This was our first visit to Cerritos Dental Surgery. My dentist has retired so Im looking for a new dentist. The staff here are very friendly and knowledgeable and made us feel very comfortable. And the facility is very clean. The thing I was most impressed with was that everything is done in house from oral surgery, and their own anesthesiologist, to making crowns and dentures on site. So you know that youre going to be taken care of during all phases of your treatment. We worked with Priscilla at the front desk, and Dr. Shawn Hofkes DDS regarding new dentures For me. The first plan they came up with was perfect using the latest technology, which would have been really great if I could afford it. Im waiting on some different pricing for alternative plans And will update my review once I see what they can come up with. UPDATE 4/21/24 Well they came up with an alternative plan that works much nicer for me I can now make Cerritos Dental Surgery my new dental home.

Jamasyea Ceasar-Williams I wanted to wait to write a review until all of my work was completed so now that it is all complete, here it is! I went in today because I wanted to double check my tooth for inflammation and the team took me in right away. They scanned my tooth and Dr. Shawn let me know immediately that there was a little inflammation, shaved it down and I was well on my way! This office has truly been an amazing experience and it means so much that they remember key aspects of my life. This makes the experience here very personable and meaningful. I have had two root canals, a cleaning and two crowns placed and all have been without issue. The team at Cerritos Dental have been exceptional and they are truly attentive and extremely caring. Thank you Dr. Shawn and team!!

Rose Saga I used to go here but switched dentists. Every time i went in for a cleaning they would make me pay extra $100+ for an “antimicrobial rinse.” Went to a different dentist, they gave me a whole bottle of the stuff for $30. The rinse they tried to push was not only crazy expensive, I doubt it would have been effective treatment. When I was prescribed by my new dentist, I had to use the rinse twice a day for a whole week, not just one time. Dentist was so rude when i declined extra service. She spent 10 seconds poking around my mouth without regard for comfort or pain and walked away. My new dentist actually talks to me with respect and works with me to provide care. If you only care about timely appointments for cleaning, this place will work fine. If you actually want care and professional service, go find another dentist. This place only cares about your money.

Art O I was there for a cleaning and I was treated like a Dog since I wasnt even attended by the doctor but by a uei nurse. When cleaning my teeth she with a grinder which is normal but she was rushing and didnt care if I had a lot of blood in my thought and continued to rush the process and caused me to choke on my blood. I think she was expecting me to swallow the blood. I dont recommend them also because they are unethical and not well educated in their work. My medical approved 2 crowns and they said medical didnt approve and I had to pay 2000 dollar. Not well educated in their craft because I had to go down to Mexico for a consultation and mentioned I needed an endodontist for one of my tooth before I had the crowns installed something that doctor at family health center should have mentioned but apparently they dont know how to read x- rays lol. Go to West Coast Dental instead they got me good.

Steven Moore Best experience I’ve ever had at a dentist office. Not only was it quick and easy but also efficient. My teeth were cleaned and back to shining white within 30 mins. I do recommend booking appointment prior to going because they can get busy. Dr Sophia is an absolute gem and the staff she has assembled are lovely. I use to hate going to the dentist as a kid but now I don’t stress much because of Dr Sophia!! Thanks for always making sure my smile looks on point, y’all are the best in town!! Highly recommended.

Bullis Road location many times and never knew such a treasure and gem resided literally less than 1mile from residents. With that said I was referred via emergency to Farwest Dental by Medi-Cal as I needed to emergency work done ASAP. Given the procedure I opted to embark on for my version of the perfect smile I was comforted by exemplary professionalism and wisdom. I was quite nervous and left 5 teeth extracted feeling confident that I was great hands and needed not to worry, nor overthink the procedures I need. Patricia Boucher First of all, I came to this office for treatment. It turned out that they did a root canal and the cap they put in was too small on my tooth which caused me to lose my tooth permanently and very serious infection, which a had to see a specialist and was told it could had spread to my brain if I had waited 2 more weeks. Secondly, I called the office to make an appointment to talk to them about the issue and was told we will call you back to confirmed. call never came. I went to a different dentist to get checked out and found out I had an infection. I contacted them to let them know what had happened. I got a call from their manager Brain and said that they review the x-rays and was nothing wrong. Went to take them x rays and notes from 2 different dentist Stading that the root canal was done wrong (they left a root untreaded). Once I told the manager that if I had seen their reviews, I would have NEVER set a foot in that office. after that He ask me to leave because HE was "uncomfortable" Instead of deescalating the situation he asks me to leave. Im not asking for all of MY money back, just the money for 2 caps that did not work and no longer have them... lost both teeth! This will also be reported to My old Insurance, BBB and Dental Board of California.

And if you have to reschedule that appointment you made months prior, you have to jump through hoops or wait another 6 months. Even when you go to your appointment, you have to wait because they are so busy. I waited over 45 minutes for my routine exam.

Makes going to the dentist more of a positive experience especially for myself who is terrified of them . On that day my assistant was a little rough but I think was her personality. I asked for my regular cleaning and they would not do it per the Dr. I guess they do not want to keep customer happy. The insurance covers a regular cleaning. I will be going elsewhere where they take care of the customer.

Dr Soto makes it an effort to make sure you are comfortable and have a pain free process. Jessica, along with the rest of the supporting staff are always very kind and helpful. I’ve had a good experience with my general dentist work that I decided to also get my orthodontic work done there with Dr Park on the other side of the building. Dr Park was very thorough with both ortho options and ultimately walked me through the Invisalign process and made it very easy to follow from start to finish. Highly recommend Dr Soto and Dr Park for anyone looking to get their teeth fixed!
