Sir Jones 78 My mother in law needed a wig. Here you are allowed to try on 2 wigs. Thats good considering other places wont let you try on since covid. This is a large store with lots of inventory. Lastly, the workers/owners are great to deal with very nice and polite.

Alicia Greenwood I really like this Beauty supply house! It’s the only one I go to. They truly make you feel welcome, Rhicko is always nice and willing to help you with whatever you need. There’s always someone on the floor to help you with whatever your looking for. It’s the #1 Supply house in Vallejo, in my opinion.

ultra subscriber I wish I could give zero stars! This review is long overdue but I finally got around to doing it. I came here last summer 2021 to dye my hair espresso brown. My hair is a natural shade of light-medium ash brown and I just wanted it to be richer. I even showed the lady pictures on my phone of what i wanted. She seemed to understand though i could tell English was her second language as she had an Asian accent of some sort. anyhow, she dyed my hair and set it all that and when I look in the mirror there, its almost red! not a nice chestnut brown either, but actual auburn/ginger hair color! They made me a freaking ginger! I did NOT want red hair. its no offense to redheads, redheads are beautiful, but I just didnt want to BE one, I specifically stated and showed w pics what I wanted---a rich brunette. i told her "this is not espresso brown, this is red!" she said "oh its how it looks at first but after a couple days itll set in and be more brown". I stupidly believed paid over 100 dollars to feel worse about myself than before and went on my way. Two days passed and still red hair. I decided I didnt have the time nor the energy to go back there, try and get them to do it again or get my money back. I dont like causing scenes or unnecessary attention to myself. I just wish i could get what i asked and paid for! I didnt want to risk them damaging my hair or messing it up even more. Flash forward one year later, my natural brown hair is finally growing back, the red hair has turned into some even more brassy ginger color and I will never ever go here again. They clearly do not know what they are doing or how to dye hair, but will pretend like they do while taking your money. If youre looking for a trustworthy salon to dye your hair, take your business elsewhere. Theres better salons out there where the stylists are actually educated and trained properly and know how to dye hair and mix colors to create the color YOU requested. This place is not it. I am sure they can do a trim ok, but not dye hair properly or give customers the colors they ask for. Never again! I wouldnt even go here if they paid ME!

Ma Ledesma If you say youll only charge $25 for a haircut for my already short hair, dont sneakily charge me $30 aside from the $5 tip I already gave you. Dishonesty and unfairness will not get you loyal clients.

DD Starks I contacted this salon and received a call back from the owner to explain what I was wanting. She stated she could do the appointment as I mentioned I am African American. I advised her that I would send her a pic, for reference of my hair type. I sent vid. No response. I called twice no response. I called from another phone and of course she answered! Saying without saying the “R” word. Simply pathetic. The nerve of her! Do better lady(owner)!

Angeli Rivero This place is a horrible place. They are unprofessional, rude and unwelcoming. We were ignored and not greeted when we came in. I waited 45 mins for my appointment, would have left if my mom wasnt getting her hair done. One of the workers Helen just sat on the massage chair rather than give me a pedicure. When I asked to be helps she said she doesn’t do pedicures. However she was finishing one when I walked in. My daughter got her eyebrows done for the first time, was not offered to see it . When I complained, Helen said she didnt ask for a mirror which is customary to see it. When my mother and I complained Helen told my mother to shut up. In the photo, shows Lena doing her hair rather than helping customers. Lena also does not honor the 15% off for customers. When asked why is it on yelp she goes its old. Do not go here ! The photo I added is a picture of Lena doing her hair rather than helping her customers.

gail kent Been going because so close to my house. Waiting for them to nice. Well I am done brought them business but regreting. Very cold atomosphere , not friendly only speak in native tongue. So dissapointent. Wanted to give then a chance. Last straw she the onwer use old old nail polish only lasted one day. I am done with this place.

Nana Ya Ya This is a brand new, beautifully decorated and clean salon. I need pedicures for ingrown toenails, not just for cosmetics. My toes got the best treatment theyve ever had in more than 30 years on my first visit. They havent bothered me since and they have a steady customer. They also gave me hot tea. I know some of the employees from a former salon. It is a great place that I highly recommend.

Jessica Rivera I came here after reading the positive reviews and thought it would be great to try somewhere new that offers affordable prices. HUGE mistake. I kid you not, it looks like a 5 yr old cut my hair. The layers are ridiculously uneven. The front isnt even angled, she basically just cut straight across and one side is shorter than the other. If only I could post pictures because this cut is beyond horrifying and I wasnt able to notice it until I straightened my hair. She may be nice but she is horrible at cutting hair/layers. I literally cant wear my hair down at all until it grows out long enough to make everything even which will take nearly a year as my hair grows slow. DONT COME HERE!

Margo M. I was always reluctant to get my hair cut because you never know if you will be happy, but Vicky changed that. She is warm, and friendly, pays attention to what you want, and triple-checks to see if you are happy as your haircut is progressing. I would highly recommend her.

Karen Rodriguez Me and mom went here for a haircut and eyebrow waxing and the lady was extremely nice and was professional at the same time. She gave me and my mom advice on to better take care of our hair and even gave my mom some recommendations on products that she could use. 10/10 would come here again. Note: Also I recommend to book an appointment or if its last minute for x reason call in advance before coming in because only a limited amount of people are allowed inside because COVID-19.

Enilorac G. I’ve been going to Polly for about 15 years now way before she had her own Hair Salon business. She’s the only hairdresser that knows how to cut my long hair layered the way I wanted it. Last week, I wanted to cut my hair really short. I showed her a photo of a bob cut. Polly gave me a haircut that even looks much better than the photo I showed her. My new haircut looks like an inverted choppy bob cut and I loooooove it. All my co-workers and friends complimented me. My new hair cut looks good straight and looks even better when I curl my hair. I highly recommend Polly.

Lez Sense salon understands my needs even when I dont. I have had my hair colored hair , my eyelashes permed. One day I decided to scrub my face with the magic eraser to exfoliate it. And I went to the salon to get my hair color and my face was red on fire. I meant it was burning. One of the ladies took me to the wash station and draped a cool towel over my Face . She did not charge me and I felt bad so I kept trying to get up. But she said no just relax this will make you feel better. It was all free of charge and I was so thankful over the course of an hour it finally stopped burning and my face was no longer red she was very helpful and kind and I just love this place. everybody There is always so helpful and so kind.

Julie Dhong I have been looking for a good hair salon for a long time in this area and I think I have finally found one finally. Dani, the owner, did an amazing job. My hair was damaged from over processed from colors and perm. My hair really needed a cut but I was dragging to go because I wanted to find someone really good. She was recommended by my staff and have been following her on Instagram to see her work. Great job Dani and I shall return! What a jewel in Vallejo. Parking was very easy and her store was in the area and pretty safe area.

sampath ram kumar putta I would give 0 stars if there is an option here’s why: Me and my uncle went to this shop for haircut and there are 3 other ladies waiting for haircut. Hairstylist told us to wait for 20 minutes and that we will get our haircut. Guess what happened: 50 minutes passed by and only 1 lady among the 3 got haircut and the stylist was jumping between other customers who were doing some nails and stuff. Don’t waste your time at this place. Your time is much more worthwhile elsewhere. I wanted to see if things changed over here after reading several reviews on google. Nothing changed, be prepared to waste your time if you choose to still go. Plus try to go around off times like 11am Monday ( as per what she quoted being less busiest time).

Frederick Geraldo The hair stylist that cut my hair was very unprofessional. She was chatting loudly with her friend on the phone while cutting my hair and stopping every 30 seconds just to chat with her friend. It made the haircut take longer to finish than it needed to be.

CHIZOMA Iboh Save yourself an insult, Doris the owner she does all the braids very rude, unprofessional, and dirty place including the restroom. Please go to her next neighbor if you want a beautiful braid or any kind of hairstyle. I will not recommend this horrible place to my enemy.

Michele Bull Ms. Doris is pleasant and professional. I felt comfortable. I showed her a picture of the style I wanted, and she was able to braid it exactly like the picture. And, she braids fast. I will be going back for future braiding.

Marsolete Ridgell Ms.Doris has been braiding n weaving my hair for about 22yrs. Shes quick, not braided too tight, ask the style you want. Bring yr own or shell use hair in shop. Shes Not Overly Expensive. My family has her on speed dial. Young men as well.

Daezela Irby Kenya is lucky that I fight people the legal way!! Her approach and the way she spoke to me could have ended an entirely different way. I came in for a cut and was very clear that I didnt want my back shaved or a super short cut. She ended up giving me exactly what I didnt want and when I was asking questions, she blamed me and said I moved and so she buzzed me and had to make it even. She never said Im going to cut right now dont move and she never said she messed up during my session. I arrived at my appointment early at 3:15- she didnt finish me until 7:25! Not ok. When I started crying because of the cut she gave me, she got upset and started to yell at me. I asked her to stop yelling at me and she began to walk towards me as if she was going to get in my face! When I told her that I wasnt approaching her and that I was only trying to discuss the cut she gave after the explicit instructions about my length and style and she did the opposite. She then said I have cameras its your fault- when I asked to see them, she opened the door and told me to get out! The unprofessionalism she displayed was beyond! There is a way to handle difficult situations and she clearly didnt learn the proper way to do so. I went back to the shop to get her business license or insurance information so I can file a claim and she refused to do so. She said she has cameras and blamed me! I hope they come with audio as she said loud and proud that people call her scissor happy!! We are going to court! Im filing a small claims and with the better business. She threatened and is rude and unprofessional. She ruined my hair and my birthday and Im not going to let it go! I hope she keeps all of camera footage that shows how unprofessional she is!! All of the swinging the clippers and walking and talking during my styling! I now need to buy a wig because of her!! The cut is nothing like what I asked for!! And here is her business license info showing shes active in her business. Im looking up the cosmetology license as well since she failed to provide it to me.

Dg Xd Showed the stylist my picture of my usual hair haircut, but she still did the style that she used on the other male customers before me which is pretty much shave a little off the side/back and trim the rest short. So the side was not cleanly shaved and the top, which I showed her my picture that I maintained long was cut extremely short. Thats the reason why the haircut is so fast. So if you like a quick haircut and dont care about the style, go here. But if you want a specific haircut, find another salon. The stylist does not even ask the customer what style he/she wants, she just lets you sit and cut away.

lRobyl Didnt expect that the owner will show her true color where I could hear her gossiping while talking to another customer. I was there waiting to get some simple mens haircut as I am currently in the military service, only to find out that you dont accept walk-in customer, but instead of telling it to me directly, I had to hear it from you discussing it with other person youre cutting hair with. Whats the point of you placing up the notebook near the entrance if thats what im gonna hear from you?. Such a shame. No wonder I dont give tip to you as I dont feel like youre a good person and showing favoritism, which is unfair treatment to everyone.
