Kelly was one of the very few people whom I knew and trusted well enough to cut my really problematic, thick and dense hair. I have good memories, we shared good stories with each other and I was super satisfied with my haircut. We even changed my hair style a little bit. I’m really happy for her new salon and wish to go there for a haircut to look sharp again.

Sadie Benson The newly remodeled La Rouge, is so inviting! I have been going to Kelly for years and I will happily drive the hour + from my home to the salon just to make sure she gets her hands in my hair! Kelly is so talented, has an eye for what works, and always gets my VERY DIFFICULT hair just right! I would definitely recommend!

Louan Morales This is THE BEST place to go for your beauty needs. The staff are experienced and welcoming. Its primarily Spanish speaking but I know at least one employee named Sandra speaks both English and Spanish clearly. They have snacks drinks beauty products as well as fashion products for purchase. The location is prime and their prices are the best Ive seen in a long time. It is run by a mother and her daughter but I think the daughter Sandra is the owner. I highly recommend this salon. But dont get it confused with another salon that shares the same name. Im referring to the salon located on Jefferson st right nextdoor to Starbucks across from the napa high school administration building.

Ecotrell Cotrell I was recommended to this salon for my wedding. First she passed me on to an unexperienced stylist. When she arrived she was kind but unprofessional. Said she had practiced my hairstyle that I sent to her ALL week. It was clearly her first time doing the hairstyle. It was a rats nest. I had to redo it myself. I was very disappointed. She didnt seem to care the day of. Now I cant get a word back from her or the salon. Too bad people feel that conducting poor business is acceptable.

Ceci Duran Yes definitely! It is a great salon. I just started coming here and Courtney is the one that does my hair. She is awesome! Love the way she left my hair the first time and now Im back for a retouch. Ive never had a hair dresser thats really done a really great job and hasnt damaged my hair! I tried 3 people in Calistoga and they were horrible and I had my hair to show for it-damaged and with each place I went the worst it got. I highly recommend Bernie’s. All stylists there are great. Her mom, Bernie, who owns the salon is fantastic.

Virginia Gudino Lex was my stylist and she was great. I don’t get my hair cut as much as I should because I’m just always so busy. My hair was in dire need and she cut it exactly how I wanted and looks so cute and healthy. She was friendly and easy to communicate with and also not too chatty. I was very tired and I felt so comfortable that I almost fell asleep. I will be going to see her again!

Johanna Meckel So so so happy to have discovered Hen House! Ive been told for years how great it was and finally got the opportunity to check it out. Jamie was incredible and brought my very dry and brittle hair back to life! I began getting comments on how healthy it looked right from leaving the salon. Shes clearly a magician. The salon itself is adorable. Everyone was incredibly warm and there was just a good feel there. So excited to have found my new salon!!

Bob Morris David is the best! He knows how to cut, color and do high and low lights. So, whenever were in town, we make an appointment to have David do my wifes hair. Every few months works out great to do the highlights. The cutting is the problem in-between. I try to do so trimming, but of course this is touch and go with how it turns out. Late time I trimmed too high and uneven line. Best if you just go see David by appointment only!

Austin Martin Great service beautiful salon, but a review will be a review the thing people should know about this place is that its a business that has other hair dressers in it so when placing a review please post about the salon and not the hairdresser themself or at least mention that your opinion is this way because so and so did my hair.

Nancy Meacham I enjoy going to Play for my hair care. Geri is the owner and she always does a great job, which is why I have followed her for the last 12 years! Im so happy she opened her own place, its clean & stylish, the atmosphere is always positive and upbeat. All the stylists are nice and they also look great - every time I visit, I notice the other patrons are really happy with their look! She did my daughter-in-laws bride & bridal party styling, and we were all thrilled with how beautiful everyone was! Definitely an A+.

Kim Shaeffer After months of desperately needing my hair done being SiP, I finally made it to the salon! My stylist had moved just before everything hit so this was the first time I had been to Bang. I have to say I was so very impressed. The space itself is so clean and modern in design. Just beautiful. The precautions of cleanliness were very obvious, I felt very safe. All the stations are strategically apart so you feel like you have your own mini salon. The staff were all very friendly. And parking! Yes to plenty of parking! Of course, my girl Shaina rocks - color and cut were spot on as usual. Encourage anyone to give them a try.

Allison Arnold Such a well appointed and peaceful environment. Serious stylists, exclusive hair care brands, such as Davines, but not a place that feels pretentious or is over-priced. Im glad my incredibly gifted stylist, Kaylee, made the move to Oryn! Those with extremely thick, curly hair, look no further! Kaylee gets "our" hair and wont give up halfway (you know youve experienced it). Great hair days ahead with Kaylee at Oryn!

Antonia Allegra It can be difficult to find a hair cutting stylist who understands cury/wavy hair, believe me! Without question, my curly/wavy hair LOVES Norma, who is one of the two excellent hair-cutter/stylists at Your Style Family Hair Care in the shopping center on West Imola just before the swooping bridge headed East, over toward Soscol/Home Depot. I have been absolutely happy with Normas cuts for more than five years and look forward to many years/haircuts to come. Norma and Josefina are the friendly, welcoming artists who can see just what your hair needs, and no reservation is necessary! This means, like a barber shop of the past, you just enter on your own schedule, sit for a few minutes while someone elses hair is being cut for about 20-25 minutes, then its YOUR turn. Within minutes, youre out the door, thanks to either of the hair-cutting wizards.

Jill Wallace-Cooper I hadnt gone to a real salon for color in about a decade. Been filling my roots with Henna, which isnt a problem, until you want to color your hair with something different and/or add highlights, as apparently Henna in the hair does not allow for new color to be added. Shelley accepted the challenge and spearheaded it, trying and testing different applications, even though it meant an even longer night. Once she was convinced her method was safe and would work, we forged ahead. She applied at least several masks over the duration of the treatment, fully knowing and customizing what my hair needed. She was even more delighted than I was that the results were so fantastic. I cant recommend Shelley highly enough!

Molly Calhoun I went to Chelsea at the Inn for Skin here at Lotus and it was such a pleasant experience! Booked online, showed up and everything was ready and waiting. I got a facial and an eyebrow waxing (sugar). Felt amazing after and will definitely be coming back!
