Gap - Monterey (CA)

3 /5 William: I recently visited the GAP store and was disappointed by the limited selection of blouses and tops available. The few options they had were also quite pricey, which was unexpected. Given the lack of variety and the high prices, I cant recommend this store for anyone looking for a good deal or a wide range of choices. It would be nice to see more affordable and diverse styles in the future. Overall, my shopping experience was underwhelming.

5 /5 A Kim: Clean and well organized store. I have found some gems in the sale section that were marked down significantly. I like shopping here for kids clothes for my nephews - I can always find really good deals on the sale section or they tend to have some sale going on always.

1 /5 Ala Milani: Bought a bathing suit for my daughter, brought it home she didnt like it. Came back to return it with tags didnt have the receipt with me so I knew that I had to come back with it because otherwise they would give me the sale price. So went home search for receipt came back with the receipt, tags on it never worn and they wouldnt take it back because the liner was gone which was not in it to begin with and I bought it that way. I explained to her that it was purchased that way and it was sold that way to me and she didnt care - they refused to take it back. This is very very very poor customer service and I will not be shopping at the store ever again. I also returned something else prior to this and they dont even give you store credit they give you a check that you have to wait for in the mail and then you can bring that check to the store and use it. I also think this is ridiculous either give me a Store credit, or a gift card with that balance on it. Instead you have to wait for a check to arrive in the mail that then you dont even get to cash it becomes like a gift certificate so you have to carry it with you at all times and hope that you dont lose it. Its obvious that they make it very difficult for you to return things in case you change your mind or your child doesnt like it. This translates to me as for customer service - you will not have me as a customer gap!
