2 /5 Lynn Duffield: I have been coming to this flipside thrift store since it opened and I loved it. The prices were the prices you should see in a thrift store---reasonable and fair for 2nd hand-- the store was neat and organized and not cramped....now I went today on my lunch break and was shocked to see how it has gone downhill !!!
The prices are now insane--- it would be better to buy new items at Marshalls or Ross, seeing how high the prices have climbed for all of the 2nd hand items.this is most likely why there is too much stuff overfilling the store. The store is no longer neat, free flowing and spacious. It appears messy, cramped and junky looking ad more items just pile up and are staged on the floor. This store has become just as bad as the goodwill has across town. Obviously, managment of this business is now becoming greedy, lacks attention to detail and gives the appearance of not truly caring about the appearance of their business. So sad. To all the customers who still like a clean thrift store where the prices are decent, then check out the thrift store by Safeway and the 1 on Grant Ave. These stores take pride in their stores appearance, which attracts customers to keep coming back, as it is neat and organized, not overfill and pleasant to shop on. You will never see anything that looks trashy laying around.
This type of business is more successful and retains repeat customers. Hope the owner of Flip side Thrift takes this constructive criticism and improves on what was once(when newly opened) a desired store to go to.i have no desire to come back anymore more because if how its changed and I know other customers feel the same way. So sad for the once great thrift store!!!!!
