1 /5 Heather Simpson: I LOVE Express and almost exclusively shop there. I recently visited this store location with the intention to do a big shopping haul... the sales emails got me! :) However upon arriving at the store, I was extremely disappointed at the lack of customer service.
I went through the entire store with my hands full of items to try on and no one approached me to say hello or offer to start me a fitting room. When I asked to start a fitting room (with the intention to keep looking), the gal barely made eye contact or spoke with me, opened the fitting room then walked away. I stored my things in there and continued shopping.
When I was in the fitting room, I was also not checked on or asked about sizing to see if I could be helped. I ended up walking out without purchasing a thing and will end up purchasing online instead of receiving such poor customer service. Ive shopped many different Express stores in various locations all over the US and have always had the best experience! It was such a disappointment to see this store ruin this brand experience for other shoppers that may be arriving for the first time.
I love the quality of Express and the consistency in sizing and amazing style for both my professional and personal life. I hope that things can turn around at locations like this and others that struggle with the same thing so the brand can continue on!
