1 /5 Christopher Kren-Mora: I’ve really tried to be patient with this store, but it’s getting ridiculous. Ever since Burlington moved from Rohnert Park to Santa Rosa, the customer service has gone downhill fast. Today I stood in line for nearly 20 minutes to buy a $17 shirt, with only one register open and three people ahead of me. Meanwhile, there were at least five other employees nearby—working the line or putting merchandise away—but none of them were helping at a register.
Between the added theft-protection hassles and the painfully long checkout process, it’s just not worth the effort anymore. When I asked if anyone else could open a register, the manager didn’t respond or apologize—just hovered over the one cashier, which honestly probably made her more nervous. I felt bad for her, but as a customer, this experience was incredibly frustrating. I don’t see myself coming back anytime soon.
