5 /5 Jack Cimino: What an experience. This was my first time shopping at a 5.11 and was really impressed. There were so many types of clothes that I could see myself wearing. Did not expect to find much but left with plenty. This is my kind of style. Also, I Cant express enough gratitude for Caitlins help today. She was very knowledgeable about the different styles and how they may differ in fit. She even offered to put in an order online for me if there was something I liked but a size or color not available in store. Said it would only take a 2-3 days so that was a great option. She let me try on as many clothes as I wanted. I started to feel bad for sampling so many items but she was like oh no here try more. I could tell she really wanted me to find the perfect outfit. I really could go on but bottom line is Ill be back. Youve gained a new customer off of this experience alone. Thanks again Caitlin. Truly am grateful for your help today.

5 /5 Patrick Pearson: Pretty helpful staff. Called looking for an item. Person couldnt find it in store immediately. He took down my number, found it, called me back 5 minutes later. Even took it to the counter for me as I told him that I was on my way. Thats pretty good customer service

5 /5 Kayla Lam: I’ve visited other 5.11 Tactical stores in Sacramento and Elk Grove before, and unfortunately the experiences there were not very welcoming. When I asked simple questions, like checking online to see if another store had my size or if there was any back stock available, it often felt like the staff didn’t want to take the time to help. After having two experiences like that, it honestly made me question if I even wanted to continue shopping there. The store here in Turlock has been a completely different experience. The manager, Kaitlyn, and employee Josh have been nothing but welcoming every time I walk in. They take the time to answer questions, check inventory, and make sure I’m able to find what I’m looking for. You can tell they truly care about helping customers rather than just rushing people through the store. Their kindness and willingness to go above and beyond really stand out, and it makes the whole shopping experience much more comfortable and enjoyable. Because of the way they treat customers, this is the location I continue to come back to and recommend to others.

1 /5 Nicole Lynn: So I called the day before going in to confirm they had what I was looking for. I live about 30 minutes away and wanted to confirm before heading that way so I didn’t waste my time. I called and asked if they had the women’s ems pants is a size 6 long that retail for $75. They confirmed they had them in stock. I went today and the women working remembered me calling and pointed me in the direction of the pants. Except they weren’t the women’s ems pants. They were the women’s ems stryke pants which retail for $100. I told her those weren’t what I was looking for and she began trying to sell me on the stryke pants after explaining to her that I’ve tried them before and don’t like them. My guess is cause they have a hire price tag. Highly disappointed with my visit. Please train your staff on the different styles you carry and how to answer question correctly and not ASSUMING the customer wants something that they don’t.

5 /5 Kyle Paulsen: First time inside the Turlock 5.11 store (10/10/25). When I walked in I was greeted and asked if I needed help finding anything, I said I was just looking. What I really liked was how personable he was. He said “Well my name is Jake, if you need anything just let me know”. Being a GM of a retail store I train my employees that customer service is key! This store nailed it in that aspect! One thing I did notice is that it seemed a bit chaotic with how much of an item was on the racks, it made it hard to look through without an item dropping on the floor, but that’s the only thing I could find that was a negative. I will definitely be back soon and I hope Jake is there to help me out!
