5 /5 Erin Greeson: I am absolutely stunned by what Vincenzo did with my hair. He is nothing short of a miracle worker, a testament to his highest-quality expertise, sheer talent, and genuine caring about his clients’ situations and outcomes. I was a walk-in and was immediately greeted with kindness and welcoming; Vincenzo’s colleague was assisting someone else but encouraged me to come in and found that the salon owner himself was available and happy to set aside another project in order to help me. I’m quite bad about hair maintenance and needed help ahead of a work conference. After years of hiking in the California sun, my hair had become brittle and broken. Like millions during the pandemic, high stress apparently led to a strange thinning (which never would have occurred to me, had my doctor not explained). My long hair was in horrible shape, neglected and botched by my own trimming attempts after a cut gone wrong earlier this year. It felt dead, dry, brittle and bad, unlike the hair I used to have; I thought I’d never get that hair back. Vincenzo listened to what I was aiming for - long layers - and began his magic. It was like experiencing a gifted artist at work. And lucky me, the medium was my hair. Vincenzo transformed the dry, bland, lifeless mess into a soft, cascading, wonderful-feeling new head of hair. No fancy products. No special styling. No gimmicks or product sales pitches. I pointed out that I’m in my 40s, and he said, “you don’t have many grays. You don’t need to color your hair…” instead of trying to push coloring on me as others might. His expert cut transformed my hair and “rescued it,” as I said, shocked and delighted by the transformation. As long as I live in Pasadena, I will never have anyone but Vincenzo cut my hair from now on. It is rare to find someone of this level of expertise and genuine caring. Thank you, VP Salon Organic!
