5 /5 Sara Nall: A few weeks ago, we had to put our cat down. From the first call I made to Valley Oak, I felt welcomed and understood. When we got there with our cat, he threw up all over the waiting area and the techs cleaned up everything. The service to get him diagnosed was quick, yet thorough. We made the difficult decision and the vet and tech were very sympathetic and understanding. Although letting go of our fur baby was incredibly difficult, the vet made the process as easy as she could for us. Today we received a sympathy card in the mail, which had a personalized note written. It was unexpected, but so very appreciated. Thank you for helping us through a very difficult time.

1 /5 B Miichi: This place is very confusing. It has an emergency office visit price of $170, that is a visit only, not the vet doing anything at all, I had to pay extra for the actual action of the vet doing something to my cat. I understand extra for diagnostics, blood, ct scans, etc, but I dont understand what the price intales. Even though its an emergency, I had to make an emergency appointment and was not seen till 1 hour after the " emergency apt." I cant imagine this happening to a suffering pet. I imagine this to be a good last resort emergency vet.

1 /5 pamela samuelson: Super disappointed in this particular service. They charged us $53.00 for a nail trimming on an 8 week old pom puppy. She is too young to go to a groomers so I figured this would be a good alternative. Never did I imagine it would cost what we pay to have our full grown pom professionally groomed. Especially since she is already on a plan where her office visits are already paid for. Unfortunately after paying that crazy amount I had to take of her nails (with a doggie nail grinder)when I returned home because they were left sharp with little edges that snagged on stuff. Although I appreciate the knowledge of the Doctors of this Vet. I do not recommend this service.

5 /5 Keegan Nazari: I had to take my cat in last night. She was hit by a car and I found her dead in the street. I didn’t really know what to do so I called them. They told me to go ahead and bring her in for cremation. Once I got there I asked if they could scan her microchip just to make sure it was her. Just in case. They did. While scanning she had some muscle spasms. I asked if they could just make sure she was really dead just in case. I didn’t want her to suffer anymore if she was somehow still alive. They took her back and confirmed she was dead. No heartbeat. I had intended to sit in my car with her a little bit after the scan, but wasn’t able to do that before taking her back. I wasnt quite ready to let go yet and I asked if I could sit with her for a little bit and were really compassionate. They set me up in a room, checked on me, comforted me, and allowed me to take my time saying goodbye. I didn’t get anyone’s name since it was all kind of a blur. But it was the staff who was there around 7 pm on Sunday the 17th. Every single one of the them were so kind, calm, comforting, and compassionate. I really appreciate what yall do. So thank you.
