Gary Standke: Only the parking lot is open during the "open hours", the adobe is always locked. You can look through the windows with your phone. It used to be staffed by the Museum of Ventura County, but that was years ago.
Emmanuel Verduzco: Bathrooms are very clean. Grass areas and campgrounds are uneven but not overgrown. Pay for parking via website. It was great for our group camping trip. TrainS pass really close; the freeway is also audible. Ocean waves are faintly audible.
Miv: Best place to hike and chill thats not too far from the city. So many different trails, from easy to hard, so make sure you have the proper footwear, or have walking sticks. One section is very slippery. But, being in nature is so worth it!
DannaIsabella: Awesome service! They have an awesome staff that is really nice and very helpful along the way. The escape room itself is so nicely decorated and really detailed, there are so many things to put attention to but only a couple are actually meant to lead you to get out. The attention to small details and immersion is great, the design of the scape rooms seems genuinely creative A really chill and fun experience , would recommend for sure to support this small bussiness ✨
Gary Standke: Call the Museum of Ventura County, across the street, to verify it will be open. Free Admission. An entire museum dedicated to what was uncovered from the excavation of the city block. From prehistoric, Chumash, Spanish, Mexican, European, to present. Endless display cases of the finds.
Bim S: We made a random stop in Ventura during our roadtrip and we are glad that we stopped by! The tasting room has a great, inviting atmosphere, and an added bonus was that we were the only ones in the place!
When we arrived, the friendly woman who gave us the tasting was actually in the back and she ended up showing us around the area where they made the wine. It was pretty awesome. We ended up taking a couple of bottles home! Thanks for the great experience!
Maribel E: Small, but beautiful open park. Only problem is the occasional disrespectful people passing through who use the restrooms to smoke and who knows what.
Berge Wassilian: If you visit this place a thousand times, youll still need to visit another thousand to possibly do all you can do shopping, kayaking, dining, boating, taking trips to Channel Islands...
Absolutely a must visit if you are a local, from nearby cities, from outer states or from foreign countries. There are various restaurants, fast food, water activities, day and night time activities and events. Clean, safe, beautiful, memorable.
Satisfying is an understatement.
