She carefully used her skills to cut my overgrown toenails out from under my skin where it was starting to hurt my toes. She wasnt frustrated or anything. She just did the best she could and I could tell so I gave her a good tip. I was so, so satisfied with her work. Thank you.
Magnolia Salon - Santa Rosa Jennifer: I started using Magnolia Salon a year or so ago after a client suggested them. I have been very pleased with the quality of their services, especially with manicurist “Ty”, who is always willing and able to provide special requests and designs for special occasions.
Nails by Susan Doan (Inside Bella Capelli Salon) - Santa Rosa Reverend Ana: Susan is an amazing nail tech! She pays great attention to detail, fixes whatever shaping issue you might have before she applies polish (and shes happy to do it), is extremely sanitary, ALWAYS on time and a true joy to spend time with. Also, first timers get a free nail art!
How fun is that? A ton!
Shes been doing nails for 30+ years and it shows as shes a true proffesional. Oh! And shes very affordable! Her quality is 5 star but her pricing is extremely competitive.
Shes located inside of a hair salon next door to Safeway on West College, NOT inside of the nail salon a few doors down, but they wont tell you that so be aware.
In the last 3 years Ive been looking for a nail tech exactly like her and was ready to just file my nails down out of frustration from going to other nail techs. Thankfully I found Susan in the nick of time. My nails have never looked better!
Neo Nail Spa - Petaluma Chilito: What more can I say other than "I freakin LOVE this place!!!" From the receptionist, to the pedicures, to the manicures.. Cris is awesome, funny, and great at her work! And Joanna is amazing at getting my ideas done. The utter detail taken to my nails is amazing! Ive always had to tell nail techs to not miss the sides or redo something, but not here! Ive also had places shave down my nail so much it hurts or burns, not here!
This place has become so popular with their work, so you NEED to make an appt! Which is ok with me :) good for them! Try Neo Nail Spa, you wont regret it!!
Polish Me Nail Spa - Petaluma Liz On the weekends: $80 for a full hard gel set. Seemed steep but whatever. Just went back for a full and it was $70 for 30 minutes and they are lumpy. For $70 it better look like Jesus himself came down from the sky and did them. They look like I glued kidney beans to the top of my nails and then painted them lilac.
Fusion Nails & Beauty Spa - Petaluma Blyn Pro: I went to this salon for a gel manicure removal, and my experience was quite disappointing. The initial technician who filed my nails was gentle and attentive, but after a few minutes, an older lady took over. Unfortunately, she was much harsher and started digging into my nails, which was painful.
I told her it hurt, but instead of easing up, she continued grinding my nails down. As a result, they became uneven and extremely thin. Now, I can barely grip anything due to the pain.
I believe there are talented nail technicians here, but I urge the salon to prioritize customer comfort. People come in to relax, not to leave in pain. Based on my experience, I wont be returning, and I cant recommend this salon to others.
Glamour Nails & Spa - Petaluma Suzanne Baumgardner: Julie was absolutely wonderful, friendly, professional and nice great conversation. She did a very nice job, fantastic massage on my feet and calves. The best I have been to. I wish I didnt live in another state, I would be a regular.
Motherhood Nails Salon & Spa - Petaluma Heather Gould: I tried giving this place another chance after my usual place was booked, and I was reminded why I stopped going there. The services were extremely rushed (pedicure took about 15 min), and the quality of my hard gel manicure & pedicure was terrible. I had to go back in after looking closer at my pedicure- there were bubbles and the top coat didn’t even cover the whole nail. And my hard gel manicure was not clean around the edges at all and my nail shapes were totally uneven.
I highly recommend looking somewhere else if you want a quality mani/pedi.
Bloomingnails Petaluma - Petaluma Amber Almond: Xuan did the cutest hard gel manicure! She took her time and made it so special! My students will be so excited to see the adorable turkey. Highly recommend Xuan for your next appointment.
