The Funk Zone - Santa Barbara (CA)

4 /5 Serena Becker: Very different. Very artsy parking is a little bit of a problem. But super friendly people everywhere. Definitely feel safe walking around. Everybody was helpful the areas well-maintained. Plenty of shopping and food choices. I had actually went to both wineries and distilleries. Checked out some of the vintage places. Planned on going back for dancing but never made it. A lot of activities going on everywhere. Just follow the signs.

4 /5 A Colaco: Located in downtown Santa Barbara, well, Google maps helped us determine where to head, it was very difficult to figure out what was actually offered as part of the funk zone. We never did find a main entry point and or a complete understanding of what was offered as part of this space. It seemed to be a space where you could largely find wine, tasting rooms, and other eateries. Just a good reminder that it’s important to read reviews and scope places out to better understand what they’re offering.

5 /5 Paul Goodling: Cool shops. Favorite shops were ShopKeepers and Mollusk. Shopkeepers has great clothes but expensive. However worth checking out especially for the concert posters in the wall that are for sale.

5 /5 Oliver Pe: Casual spot highlighting Sta Barbara lifestyle with a number of aggregated shops and food and beverage estavlishments. Often visited for their cafes in the morning and for a drink during the evenings.
