03-2025 The Flamingo Nail & Spa in Top Reviews 19 Nail Salons in Richmond, CAZorina Nail Studio (Russian Manicure) Union St - San Francisco aleksandra pavlovic: Have been coming here a few times now and have always been super happy with my manicure. The technicians are super detailed and do a magnificent job. My manicure lasts several. Super friendly and go above and beyond to make sure you are happy even squeezing in an add on at the last minute. Highly recommend this salon.
Revive Nails Studio - Richmond Alesha Bell: The service was great. The owner Marcela was very detail oriented. The staff take their time and dont rush anything. They sanitize everything before and after use. They are kind and friendly they even offered me drinks and snacks. i got a fill and a pedicure for only 90 dollars which is relatively inexpensive. The owner gave me some kind words and took pictures to share on social media.
The Nail Pope - Richmond Lorena Hoogsteden: I’ve been getting my nails done by Deanna for 6 months now, and hands down (see what I did there...) I will not trust anyone else with my nails. She’s not a nail tech, she’s an artist. Absolutely brilliant. On top of that, Deanna’s super precise with her gel application, so my manicures have lasted up to 5 weeks, and I’m pretty rough of my hands. I’ve never experienced any chipping or lifting, and my natural nails have gotten so much stronger and healthier. Bonus points, Deanna is one of the coolest humans I’ve ever met, and she’s a blast to hang with.
La Vie Nail Bar ( San Ramon ) - San Ramon Ray G: Very disappointed with my experience here. I went in for a basic pedicure and was shocked to see that it was priced at $90. I decided to do gel, and since my friend booked the appointment for me as a regular pedicure, they told me they would not have time to do a basic French tip. I didn’t think it would be an issue to switch to gel since, in my experience, salons usually ask in person which one you want, and it doesn’t take more time.
The technician was nice enough to say she could still do the French tip, but I don’t understand why it was a problem in the first place, especially since the salon was nearly empty and no one was waiting after me. I also expected a small extra charge for the French tip but was surprised to find out it was $20 extra. According to their pricing, the pedicure should have been $65, and with the French tip, it should have totaled $85, but I was charged $90. I find this price kind of wild for a basic pedicure.
Not only was it overpriced, but the quality was nothing special or out of the ordinary. To make matters worse, the technician went too deep under my nail, causing pain and discomfort in my toe since my appointment on Friday (it’s now Tuesday night). It’s been uncomfortable to wear shoes, and the pain has persisted for days.
Overall, I felt overcharged for a mediocre pedicure that ended up hurting my toe. I would not return.
Monica Nails & Spa - Antioch Natasha Scott: They are really nice people but their products are cheap and the quality o fthe nails are awful. Evertime I come here my nails chip. The last two times my nails were a mess in less than 24 hours. I will never return here again.
I just added two photos. This is how my nails looks after two weeks from the place who originally did my nails after your bad refill. Look closely, there are NO CHIPS. they still look beautiful after two weeks. Im sorry Katie but this isnt the first bad nail job youve done. But this is my first bad review.
E & A Nail Spa - Antioch Mylen Chv: Terrible and horrible customer service. I visited to have my nails removed, but the technician didn’t use the nail removal liquid, making the process hard and painful for me. He handled my nails roughly and wasn’t gentle at all. Despite my repeated requests for more care and gentleness due to my sensitive nails, he didn’t apologize and continued harshly. When I insisted he stop because of the pain, he began yelling at me and acted as though I was pretending. I was shocked and deeply upset, so I decided to leave. I won’t be returning to this place again.
Forum Nail & Spa - Antioch Angelica Chong: Went to this salon for a simple spa pedicure.
Tom cut way to much of my cuticles.
One of my big toes bled until the next morning, I woke up to my sock stuck to my other big toe because it got infected.
Then when I called they showed no concern over the matter.
Will never go back again!!!!
REX NAIL SALON - Antioch Liliana Wu: I had a trip on Monday and my manicurist cancelled my appointment and I was super stressful looking for a salon at 7 pm and they closed at 7:30 and they attended to me until 9:30. Very grateful to the young lady who did my nails. I will back ♥️
B K Nails - Antioch Kathy Thill: Always clean and on time. Good prices and nice people. Mother and daughter are very nice.
21 Nails - Antioch Ryan H: I had the absolute pleasure of visiting 21 Nail Salon, and I’m beyond impressed! From the moment I walked in, Jenny provided an atmosphere that was warm and inviting. The salon is impeccably clean, with a serene ambiance that immediately put me at ease. Jenny, my manicurist, was nothing short of amazing. She’s a true artist with her craft! She listened carefully to what I wanted and offered expert advice on the best nail shapes and colors that would suit me. Her attention to detail is unmatched – every nail was perfectly shaped, and the polish application was flawless. Jenny’s gentle and friendly demeanor made the whole experience so relaxing. I left feeling pampered, refreshed, and with nails that looked absolutely stunning. I can’t recommend Jenny and this salon enough – a true gem! I will definitely be returning for my next manicure.
