1 /5 Bridgitte Willard: Jason is a nice guy, but a completely overrated stylist. My highlights came out thick, stripe-y and crude. He cut my bangs way too short IMMEDIATELY after we discussed what a huge problem it is for me. I went back to have my bang area color fixed, as there was a thick stripe of too blonde hair that was farther from the root than the rest. He added in a TON of lowlights which look grey; now it doesnt blend with the rest of my hair. Cried and cried. My hair wasnt perfect before, but now its a total mess. I have no idea what to do, and I wouldnt let him try to fix it again anyway. So, so bummed. Super expensive too.

5 /5 Jay: This place is SERIOUSLY THE BEST HAIR SALON IVE EVER BEEN TO! Whether its dying or cutting or both, it always turns out even better than Id hoped. Incredible work and incredible customer service. I always feel safe and welcome here, and come out with incredible hair. THIS is the place to go!

5 /5 Amber Burke: Penny the receptionist is AWESOME. In an age when so many bookings happen online only, Penny is a real breath of fresh air and she’s a solid professional. Jason is an amazing hair stylist too. He really listens to what I want and responds well. Red is typically hard to get right but he has consistently done it, even when I ask to change the shade a bit. I’ve never been great at being a regular at a spot for my hair but I think it’s because I haven’t found Stranded before.

5 /5 Michael Briones: It a beautiful salon. The staff is great. And that Michael does really good hair. Ive come to realize that every time I go in there everybody is really chill. All the stylists there do excellent work The salon is definitely a must.

3 /5 K: I wanted to love my experience. I was recommended this place by a friend so at least others have had a good experience. Very kind and lovely people, but this is where the good part ends. What I got was a Supercuts haircut at a salon price, and easily the worst styling Ive ever paid money for. Left with frizzy, knotted hair and all I could manage to say was Thank You So Much because I have no idea how to speak up for myself. I even generously tipped. Sad to leave this review, wish we were a better match.
