W Brandi “McBooty”: Stumbled upon this park by accident. To the train from Fresno to Hanford for superior dairy ice cream and needed something for the kids to do for a couple hours until we left. Looked up local parks, this was the closest and worked out great!! It was a very hot day and the jungle gyms are in the sun so not safe for the kids but this water pad was amazing! Lots that shoot up from the ground, spreading flowers, a little drop bucket one- perfect on a hot day!!
Bathrooms need some thorough cleaning and paper towels would be beneficial hence the 4 stars, but really a great place to cool off and easy to get to!
J S: I love this place. It has lost a lot of its amazing luster over the years. It still stands as a monument to the history of the Chinese community who once lived here 100+ years ago. The alley is famed for its restaurants as well. The Imperial Dynasty used to host famous actors and politicians. Now it is a quiet little area that doesnt have much going on except a Tea shop, and grocery, but you can still appreciate the ambiance of what was once there.
Wayne Bennion: A nostalgic visit to my first Carnegie library. Its where I learned that you cant sound out Joaquin with English pronunciation rules! I miss the books, but I appreciate the building still being there and open.
dawn hogwart: To the guy with facial hair, baseball cap, black and gray sleeve on his right arm, riding your bike fast on the trail, you almost hit my dog with your bike. If this ever happens again it will not end well for you. Youve been warned. Also it is customary to announce to others on the trail which side youre going to pass on.
Bianca Betancourt: Kaitlyn from Storybook Garden has been wonderful to work with. I rented the small outdoor garden for a bridal shower. She was so helpful, responsive and an overall pleasure. Thank you so much for your help!
My son loves stopping by for free play and exploration. It’s perfect for ages 1 - 5. The gardens are stunning and very well maintained.
Tristan Ringhofer: Wow, this was so fun for a birthday party. The man running the carousel was so kind and great with the kids. It was a long ride for the dollar spent. Plus, we got to ride an old fire engine, converted into a tour truck. So fun!!
Linda Enas: Delightful experience! Guided tour was close to a mini-history lesson. We will definitely remember this as an enriching moment, and are thankful for the opportunity!
Dz Larsen: This park is amazing! A little something for everyone - 2 kids play areas, beautiful dog park with agility course, baseball diamonds, 2 boat ramps, plenty of parking - NO FEES!!! There are also inspectors in the earlier hours so you can get your monthly (visitors) or annual (residents) mussel stickers for $20!
The restrooms are clean, plenty of trash cans & recycle bins, bar bqs & even filtered drinking water - all with plenty of shade & great shore fishing.
You may even catch a glimpse of some Canadian Geese parents, leading their goslings across the grass to swim in the lake!
